I just recently started CZcams and im not giving up, i just wanna say to all small CZcamsrs like me, we can do this
You got this!
U have 700 subs you're not new
@@wardencombosI got a channel to 1.2k subs in 3 days. And another to 400 in 24 hours… they are still new channels just with lots of subs 😊
@@vidIQ Really appreciate it 🙏
Yes we can 👍👍
Being a CZcamsr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of help from Fame -ster of course) will always pay off at the end.
I started my beekeeping channel in 2008. I posted regularly and my channel finally gained traction in 2016. Then, in 2022 I reached 100,000 subscribers and received CZcams's silver play button. My approach was simply to BE REAL, and make content to help MY AUDIENCE. Overnight success is VERY RARE!
Sounds more interesting than my sleep channel! Subscribed 😂
@@thesleeppolicei see your trying to implement some things in your thumbnails and titles just put some more work in and get more interest

That’s awesome! I have only 22 but that’s after 5 videos in a month. How long did it take you? Any tips?
Congrats!
Same here, it was best feeling seeing that, it take commitment and dedication to do what you love
@AVVGaming1 I posted a few times a year ago then stopped, but I've gained most of my subs within the last month or so!
@@user-df5ym9dv5g thank you!
Just re started my channel after a year of not uploading. Went from 100 subs to 700 in a month and an 1k hours from changing to more vlog and showing what i was doing. Just grinding to the 4k hours now
❤️ I saw ur channel.. Congratulations
You can do this, keep it up!

Dang that is awesome! Hope to gain that traction too. Keep it up!
This is a Video small content creators need to watch. I completely agree with all of this and if you decide to change your niche its not to late. I did a whole turn around and I went from 5k subs to 50k subs in the first month now I'm at 80k and about to get the silver shiny thing. Just don't give up!
Done Please 💜🤍💜🥰💜🥰💜
Step 1: Understanding your audience (make content that resonates with your audience)
Step 2: Finding Ideas (research what other content your audience is watching)
Step 3: Groundwork (does your channel have a sustainable topic for a year and beyond)
Step 4: Consistency (with engaging uploads)
Done Please 🖤
How do I research what other channels my subscribers are watching?
I just started CZcams with zero subscribers now I’m almost at 300 on my first week of uploading going to keep trying!!
I subbed to you miss, you got this! 🎉😊
I once wanted to start my own channel, however, because I have no technical skills for editing, and enough will to keep making content that gets like 10 views, I gave up. Now I want to start once again, with better ideas and some experience from the past. I don't even want to become full scale CZcamsr, I rather want to have a place to share my Minecraft creations, and to entertain myself a bit.
Wish me luck, guys. I know I'll fail once again, but I still have to try.
Edit: just in case: this is an alt account lol
If you try to give up you will get blisters in your ego
Done Please 🤍💜🤍💜🤍🤍
It’s very unfortunate that a niche and audience is stuck one way. I am trying to start a gaming channel and I want to include a little bit of real life and some Pokemon card openings, but don’t have time to build up separate channels and post somewhat consistently.
The editing takes up too much time for this, and I can’t afford one. So I’m trying to break the norm and run a channel that shows a variety of each. Every video is slowly becoming better than the last. I will try to work with this for a year and if nothing pops then I’ll see if it’s worth my time to just post at very slow rates.
I’m just waiting for that one thing to catch and maybe focus more on it
Done Please 💜🤍💜🥰💜🥰💜
i mean, you can just comment everywhere and get to 100k in less than a year

My only concern is for you to encourage yourself by growing your own channel if you planning to so yeah you're welcome! Hopefully you're doing well with your channel! ^w^
Have you found that CZcams growth ebbs and flows? Like posting the same/similar video on an off day vs a “blessed” day the video performs differently? I have notice for my channel it is about a 24 hour cycle, up then down, high performance low performance. Am I up in the night or is there some validity to this?
I can not emphasise enough that breaks are important. Especially if you work part or full time. If you're lucky enough that your parents or someone else supports you or you're on the dole, good for you but for many of us CZcams, work a d life can burn you out and it's important to understand know when you need a break. Even if the hiatus is for a longer period.

Started a channel 8 months ago. Just trying to have fun and stay positive with it.
I just hit 1000 subscribers, much of it thanks to what I learned from this channel. It’s wild and I honestly didn’t expect anyone to watch my vids. You all have definitely helped me along the way. Thanks for these informative videos!
Thanks for the help! As a new CZcamsr this free info is appreciated. I have so many ideas but it’s hard to translate it to a great quality video. My last video was had the best browse feature recommendations. I couldn’t get many people to click though. My thumbnails suck. I’ll be honest though I have never written a script for my videos and haven’t developed hooks. Time to get to work.

I have one question. so im doing lego skibidi toilet recreation videos. so far im recreating 4 different series from 4 different creators. sometimes some do better than others but they realitvly stay the same. I usually dedicate my every 4 new videos to 1 new episode from each creator/series? does that sound good?
Another question is wheter I should post my own series im doing that I branched off from the original skibidi toilet creators. but it dosent do as good as the others. My question is how long should I keep posting my new series by me on my original channel before deciding wheter I should make a new channel just for that series in particular/more??
thank you! I have 20k subs but totally stopped posting because I got discouraged. I teach visual effects and specific software and got scared to venture out. BUT I think I need to focus on what my audience REALLY wants

Very well said my friend. I have definitely learned that once you start to build an audience, the algorithm pushes it out to your subscribers and if they feed on it then it gets pushed out to a wider audience really quickly
Yea i started my channel 2 years ago doing IRL DIRTBIKE RIDING VIDS. Now i am doing a Gaming channel starter Jan 2nd 2024. Im enjoying doing it and growing at a decent rate. Just gotta keep going 💯
Thanks this really helps my channel
Im definitely on the verge of giving up. I haven’t been successful in creating a community or people who want to return to view. I’ve been trying for four years and I’m really burnt out now
Don't give up! We believe in you!
Great video. Commitment is key. But it is also vital to know when to take a break. If you need to miss a week, do it. By the way, the community tab is your friend. It is a brilliant way to build community and just let viewers know if you need to take a few weeks off.
So true
I’m new, first video launched last month and working on my 6th now. I am at 22 subscribers and I hope to get some growth. I have a lot to learn though. Thanks for the advice.
I recently started my CZcams channel to showcase my talent in the world of arts. I had stopped painting for years due to depression, but I realized that painting could help me overcome it. So, what I did is I recorded myself painting and posted it on CZcams as my content. It would be great to get my channel up to at least 1000 subscribers. This is going to be a long journey, but I won't give up on it.
This is my first ever CZcams channel and to everyone just starting keep going !!

This is an awesome reminder, my wife and I really do sometimes experience strain in our health and editing schedules even tend to create tense arguments between us.

We are celebrating our 2 year CZcams anniversary next month! 🎉🎉
Thanks VidIQ! Freediving / Spearing channel closing in on 1000 subs! Learned alot from your vids and livestreams! Been a rollercoaster ride so far, but I'm determined to make this a success!
Thank you so much. Currently growing my channel.
I’ve watched countless “grow on yt” vids and this is easily one of the best I’ve ever seen.
I also just started, I'm having a ton of fun with it, and I'm hoping to grow and continue to simply have fun!
I started uploading a bit more consistently to my channel about tech reviews about 8 months ago and I've seen some small success but I am really enjoying this journey even if it's slow. So the most important thing is to enjoy what you are doing and you won't ever give up!
Started a CZcams channel last year March and in December i quit my toxic job. I have come to realize that growing a CZcams channel is hard. I have 106 subscribers and i am hoping to get to 200 this month therefore thank you for sharing this video because giving up is not an option
I'm hoping this advice can help and I greatly appreciate your advice with helping many of us! My channel is strictly to help support unknown Metal bands but the more subscribers the more people can discover these bands that they might of never discovered.
Hey there, I subbed to you 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for this advice! As a new CZcamsr, I found all of this very helpful! Oh, and good luck to all of the other new CZcamsrs out there! We got this!
It’s not so much about consistency. It’s about building a video library so CZcams understands the type of content you create so it can recommend your content to the appropriate audiences. The big video library also allows viewers to stay on platform longer viewing your other content which CZcams loves.
I have a question; is making shorts a good idea? I've heard things from "my views went down so bad and i have to start a new channel." to its helping me a ton.I make shorts in my nich should I keep going or stop doing it?
If you want to be primarily a longform channel, I wouldn’t do many shorts at all. It attracts a split audience.
Usually when people subscribe to a channel because of a short, it’s because they want to see more *shorts* like it; it’s rare when people check out a channel’s longform videos because of a short, but CZcams will notice those subscribers aren’t watching the longer videos, or if they are, it’s usually just the first couple minutes.
Take the hours you would spend on shorts and use them to make your long videos better instead.
A way to use shorts without harming your main channel though is to create an alternate channel just for shorts and a TikTok account for them too. Ideally, you can make accounts on Instagram and X as well, but TikTok would be the best place to start IMO.
@@_catulus Thanks!
Thanks, great and timely video. I'm definitely at exactly that spot. Re-evaluating -everything.
Thank you! We're working on our first 10 scripts now and launching the new channel soon!
Finally hit 100 subs the other week, avg about 5 subs a month. My channel isn't the most thrilling, and massive channels with hundreds of cuts/b-rolls/fancy graphics is so hard to compete with. Still enjoy creating and providing a review service...just not sure i'll ever get to 1k subs at this rate 😂
Great video! I'm brand new and I have 3 videos and 1 short. They are messy, but each video has gotten better. ☺️ I definitely want to be successful with it. I'm trying to find the balance with it, family, and work.
This is going to help me! I'm right now trying to start a 2nd channel so I might be able to apply this to my new channel!

Hei, i have question. I must create content from my viewer request or i create the viral content? What must be prioritized between my viewer (i have very low viewer :)) or viral content?
Make videos for your audience!
#4 resonates with me so much! I have a schedule exactly like that and want to change to quality over quantity.
CZcams is a long game, and it helps to expect progress over time
And its important, like with any ither career path, to know where you see yourself in 2, 5, 10 years ❤😊
I'm building the biggest Starship Enterprise in the world and just hit 16000 subscribers after 14 months of very hard work. I learned editing and the secrets to thumbnails and titles. Keep going!
Amazing advice. Will try make changes to my channels to reflect that. Thank you.
I produce and edit content for other peoples channels and the hardest thing for me is getting them to apply all this stuff that you’ve mentioned. I’ve been harping on it for over a year now and they just don’t listen then complain when there isn’t growth. I’m over here like “THEN WHY NOT JUST TAKE MY ADVICE AND DO THE THINGS?”
I can’t edit the quality content if the quality content isn’t there and planned prior to filming.
I have this strong feeling now that if I had the time and energy to build a channel for myself that I’d do so much better than the half assed job I’m forced to do for these other people.

I am not making CZcams, but just started my online clothing brand (Keplove). Would you suggest doing some kind of YT content? I have no idea what I could do, except behind the scenes, Shopify, Ads, etc. But this would not get me customers, I guess
VidIQ will surely find the answer.
Check out other clothes brands CZcams channels for inspiration and ideas!
I think a behind the scene will be more appealing to your customers. Especially when u add a meaning touching story about the designs and when u chose that particular style.
Step 1. Find an audience
Step 2. Make content they want to see
Step 3. .... what was step 1 again?
Step 4.... um... make content????
Step 5... be consistent... with what I don't know
Step 6, success!!!! 😂

I did CZcams since 2017, I don't do it for fame, I do it because I love it.
Being daily can be fun, because it gives you a challenge and if you committed, it can be very fun.
I don't care for the views, if I know that I enjoy it I make it, I won't do what I don't enjoy.
But to be successful, I fully understand what this video is for.
the key is being yourself
the core is putting effort into yourself
Great advice! I definitely need to start planning out my videos 😅
Thankfully it’s hard to run out of content when you’re farming, there’s always something crazy going on 😂
Consistency is definitely one of my biggest bugbears. I still find it incredibly hard to understand how to retain a healthy balance between what I want to do & what people actually want to see.
For example, I just finished my first Playthrough of Silent Hill 2. It's been up for about a day now & currently has 15 views which tells me that it's either not being pushed by the YT Algorithm or it's not resonating with people. Or both I guess. My last video before this was a 1 minute long April fools "meme" with a very simple title & thumbnail however this has had over 1k views & has been up for about 5 days. This tells me that people at least clicked on this video & that YT was willing to promote this kind of content.
My main goal for my channel is to create a small community & in order to do this I need to make my content more consistent & more engaging. I'm still not exactly sure how to do this but I'll keep trying cuz that's all I can do 😅
I got another idea. I quit caring about views and I just post stuff I like. Why? I don't want my channel being like every other channel on youtube. It's part of the problem with CZcams now. I like being unique and I planned to stay that way.
Cope

Loving what I do. Creating new memories, inspiring people, learning new things, growing. Full package. 😊

I liked what you said about diet. Something about the idea of consistency for the sake of consistency feels wrong. In my case, my life has changed too much since I started my channel in 2020. The style of my old videos doesn't feel right in my current reality. I guess, I like the idea of having a channel, and I like the idea of CZcams, but sometimes I feel that it's better to not upload anything than to upload something that would be... forced?
So true, your passion can be felt from your content. I gained 300 subs in 2.5 weeks after taking a break from CZcams.
I also started my CZcams channel... hope it grows with quality content
I literally just finished my 3 month daily upload challenge today. It felt like what you said about uploading for the sake of doing it. Some videos performed well, but most bombed. I am just glad I was able to stick to something I said I would do. My next challenge is weekly videos after today.
This is great advice, thank you!
