Pt.1 Shimano LX 7 speed M050 M060 right shifter:Rebuild service overhaul dissembly

Part 1 of the Shimano M050 Lx rapid fire rebuild. This is for the rights 7 speed side. A bit fiddly at first to put back but you’ll get there in the end. So catalogue says that this is actually for the 500LX group as the LX group seems to be M060 1991/1992. They look quite similar.

for the beginners ...no rebuild need .... just a deep clean with degreaser wd etc .....and use liquid grease after ..... :)

What is the difference between tthe 060 and the 050?

Hi can’t remember, from memory, the right 7 speed mec is the same. Sauf the levers are maybe plastic instead of metal. The 3 speed side likely says LX on it while the other doesn’t
