nightstalker has an ability that when he casts void on you it removes the hero from vision both on the minimap and in game, you cannot save the hero under this affect
yeah, but the other facet gives you night at the start wich makes his lane so much stronger, personally i think that facet its better

@@r0dr1g0 nah that facet seems pointless you have 0 points in your passive in the first 5 minutes. So its a waste
@@brandonhurley8983 that's the point, it lets you start the game with 1 point in passive and boosts your other abilities, but I think the void facet is better because you can't interact with it
I am nowhere near your level at Dota 2, but I think that Abaddon as a support has gained insane buffs. Shield with 80% damage reflect for instance is insane. I was shocked to see he only had 50-ish percent winrate in this patch. His sustain in lane and fights is incredible.
he was spammed as offlane so ppl r probs picking him still in offlane cos they think the passive is still broken when its not

Facet 2 is great but it's really annoying that I can't intentionally burst the apothic shield reapplying it on a hero already with one.
80% winrate as support in combo with BB premade before patch idk if it s better now, I ll try
Mist coil has been underrated. Shield needed a buff but nerfing curse of the avernus into the ground was a bit uncalled for.

This happens every so often and I personally love it. It is a bit sad to see certain builds and playstyles become lost to time, but new ones take their place and it really encourages experimentation.

Nyx kept the 25% damage on mind flare, overall it's about the same vs int and universal heroes and slightly worse on others, but your mana burn is a lot better in return, especially against stealth heroes until people actually read his new passive
Doom can sell for 90% but what about Gyro who can disassemble every item? What would be the new progression of items for his loadout?
You can force opponent into buying MKB and then disassemble butterfly into other items for example.
Bro dooms talent and facets are so useless and thematically uncreative its a disgrace.
I think you have misunderstanding, status resistant is still on SnY. The part it got removed is only from sange. So kaya and sange no longer give status resist

I thought it was pretty obvious that LS can heal off friendly creeps.
Necro feels pretty good with aoe bonus. Kill some golems and walk into a teamfight with screen sized death pulses, ghost shroud, heartstopper, and maybe radiance. Get a kill or two and no one is escaping. He also flash farms like crazy with being able to just run through the jungle spamming death pulses without even stopping to attack. I had like luna tier farm. Synthed aghs for heart when no one else in the game even made it to 6 slotted.
In my rank axe is the most imba hero first pick first when and I always gets dumpsterd by it whenever enemy picks it
Im very glad S/Y has status resist still thats the main reason to buy it..
all the support players in teaguvnors chat were rejoicing about status resistance on s and y being removed and nobody noticed that it is still there.
They buffed the heck out of like half the hero’s but not the other half.

Since they already ported dota to source 2 I hope they do some gfx overhaul like counter strike. They already improved lighting and particle effects so hopefully they upgrade the textures and models as well.

Venge can now use battle fury, echo saber, and basher if you take the facet for it.
what situation would venge need this though lmao i doubt melee venge will be viable
She's still ranged, you can just get those effects on her ranged attack now.

Needless to say she was useless all game, finished 3/11, and we lost
@@DUKEHadToDoItToEm certainly takes some tinkering. Honestly it was probably me doing a test run after I ran it against hard bots. I'm certain there's a way to run basher and or echo saber as a support, but definitely can't carry if she can't man up to other players.

No S&Y definitely removed status resist. It no longer says it on the item. Only slow resist. Or am I missing something.

Did you know techies can hold 4 jungle items at once because of his facet? You can try it.
the lycan no wolves is kinda crazy +damage and makes the hero finally playable (wolves aren't walking in front of you cancelling your autos and or stopping/blocking your hero)

I was hoping Valve was adding in a whole suite of customizable attributes and stuff like League of Legends has, but some of these hero aspects are so impactful I'm not very disappointed.
I prefer fewer, big choices. It's easier to see how it affects gameplay and also how to play around it as an opponent. In League you basically just pick "the best ones" per champ.

I dont understand the jug being op?, literally his second facet is bugged, if you attack you also lose the stacks (its supposed to lose only if you receive dmg), and first facet didnt feel it being overly op. So mind telling me about it

Nah bro, facets added another layer of complexity to Dota that LOL doesn't have.
@@Erdtier I don't want to flame Erdtier because I love Dota and have a softer spot for League than most but this is a very league patch, mana bars, passives, minor upgrades to AA/Shadow Demon right click, even the facets are like a very simplified rune system.
It's sounds like an easy soundbyte to annoy MOBA players but this is definitely a little more league than your average dota patch
@@macariuswrench I'm a league and dota player for 12 years, I would agree and disagree. Leagues gameplay rotation is much more linear and forced on timers regarding objectives, plates, herald, dragon, etc. The entire way you play the game is extremely different, laning might be the closest
The passive are no doubt league feeling but they way they are implemented is not. The fundamental differences in items, what they do, and how to use them VS leagues stat stick / passive approach will always make them world's apart. This is only my opinion, respect to all players and both games! Up Moba's! 🙌

Silencer is total trash now as a support. Naga support is really good imo but at my rank if i pick naga support pos 4 or 3 would troll pick something like drow. And they would blame you for not playing like a core telling you useless not remembering all the times ive saved them or set up kills or just provide vision with illusion.

instead of trying to fix the meta issues, icefrog just adds a ton of new stuff while praying it somehow evens the meta, kinda crazy if you think about it

Facets are what talents shouldve been and talents shouldve never been added to the game imo
Also i hope in the future every hero is updated to the point where they all have 3, 4, 5+ facets and at least one of the facets will allow every hero to be viable as either carry or support regardless of what the hero notmally is.
I.e CM 4 support facets 1 carry facet
PA 4 carry facets 1 support facet
