- After months of delays, the Poseidon Crew finally get to celebrate! To eliminate the possibility of missing any gold, they decide to give their claim one last sweep with the metal detectors, and end up finding two huge nuggets worth over a third of a million dollars.

When I was a child my cousin and I stumbled on a duffle bag full of stacks of $100 bills. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a cartel cash drop and the DEA confiscated it. When they counted it, it turned out to be $1.250 million dollars. To this day I still think about the old man making us turn it in and just how much I hated doing it!

These guys work ridiculously hard in scorching conditions, fly's snakes etc. They deserve every bit of gold they get an I buzz off watching them find it. Best programe on TV for me, luv it
I was happy on my first day of detecting in SA of finding a 23g piece. Imagine finding a 45 oz piece in your first week! Wow!

I lashed out on a new top of the range gold detector, First weekend in the bush 50 oz on Saturday, and 75 oz on the Sunday.
Let me tell you, the work mates were all thinking I'd found a new girlfriend on Monday when I got to the office.
To be able to have ground that isn’t “hot” and being able to find nuggets cleanly in that matrix is a dream for sure.
Investment is the upper hemisphere of wealth. This is one more reason why you must save and invest to ensure profit and ensure success.
If you don't mind sharing, I think the market deserves the reward, and I know it's real, but how can it be?

The types of sluicing they do in the Klondike does not work in Australia. Sluicifer and Big Red would be useless.
I did some reading about the town nearby and there were some very serious amounts of gold pulled out of the ground.
Poseidon nugget 953 ounces, Tarnagulla Just up the road Kingower Rheola not far away. Best goldfields in the world imo

@@mrdivinelightning The area they dug was Historically very rich ground that was mined by the oldtimers, but this ground was sold off many years ago, so it is private ground, in my opinion all gold bearing ground should by open to the public, but well......

Inside info within family: The equipment owner get the nuggets, the other two gets wages + measuring scales(bonus).
Inside info with the production company, they lease nuggets from private collectors and throw in the ground and with the magic of tv unearth them with the film crew being there for just a couple hours
The real gold is the TV series itself

It doesn't really matter what machine you use if the nuggets are that big. Hard to miss them.
