Magearna Let me re-phrase the statement. If the runner isn't providing the commentary, then it isn't necessary...period. Commentary is usually pointless, distracting, and poorly done. Just look at all those sports people blabbering endlessly about nothing that you didn't just see.

Why did Rare put so many end level warp barrels in the game? What's the point?

As far as I know, Warp Barrels are only in the first two worlds, mostly so that you could skip easier levels and move on to World 3+ quickly, which are more difficult and involved. At least, that's what I gathered, so don't take my word for it.

Every level from the first 2 worlds of DKC2 have an end barrel warp, as well as several levels from DKC1 as well, it isn't exclusive to 3

There are 7 warps in DKC1, 10 in DKC2. Well, there are wrong warps in those games too, but the developers didn't intend you to be able to do them lol
