It is so annoying having 10x better troops than your enemy, but they just have more troops and they somehow win EVERY battle
Good thing this is not a common thing in any other Paradox game!

@@solbergsindre not really, in CK3 you can absolutely beat a bigger army by having better quality and countering the enemy. Hell, there is even a Florryworry stream (the EU4 streamer) in which he made a campaign with only knights. He reformed catolicism to let people be monk fighters and owning only 2 provinces he had 16 knights with a lot of buffs, which managed to beat an army of 3.5k levies and 1 men at arms regiment.

Honestly I want you to play Austria. Not because I'm Austrian (I am) but It would also be challenging because you border some global powers which will make your options harder

What I found interesting from playing Austria is one simple fact: the only real enemy is inside your borders. You can become a powerhouse, but defeating the aristocracy and the church, which is basically restructuring the whole society from the bottom, is something that takes time, way more time than reforming other countries (with the exception of Russia, either they are just as difficult or I just suck in internal matters).

Really easy to form mega Germany and becoming number 1 relatively fast, just cripple prussa by releasing pommerania and other states with the help of the Russians/French in the leadership play and you can immediately start the nation formation play after they lose their GP status

@@mackosmirgl Meh, for me all I did was remove the landowners from the government and speedrun all the laws that limit their political strength. In the end, I only had to face a revolution that only had one state, and got the inteligencia at like 40% strength in only a few years
This reminds me when me and my sister tried to fix the ottomans and basulycally made it in the last 7 months to complete the needed tanziamat. After that we immediately went bankrupt

Relatable man. I was playing as algeria managed to kick the french out which triggered a hidden function (bug?) In the game where every single euro nation would embargo me over and over and over again so it killed my economy and made the people in my country leave which killed my economy faster and made more people leave. Then my computer mysteriously stopped working and has a huge dent in it from where i punched it

I typically go after the two Egypt goals, the resistance one and the bureaucracy. I’ve found those are easier and faster.

They really need to fix the AI like i've never seen a unified Prussia, Italy and a US spanning the continent. In fact in almost all my games the US couldn't even defeat the CSA.

ok there were some big mistakes in the campaign that doomed it more than the hbuga
1-you barely increased the construction sectorso you would never spike in gdp
2- you didnt industrialize strong enough, besides increasing gdp industrializing its really gold to shift the political scene as building factories make the capitalist and inteligencia stronger so you want ot avoid getting too many farma and more factories in the early game, specially in the capital where pops have more political strengh, and of stack factories for bonuses
also when i played the ottomans i didnt go for the batallion missions as its just too costly, i cant remember which ones i did but 250 batallions in the early game will run you dry
3- increase taxes, they should bw on high if not vwry high until the mid to late wgame when you have 2k or 3k constructuon
4-after industrializing try puppet open border nationa sp they will pump you of immigrants, in my otto game bc buggy mess the us was in a permanent peace/war with the csa so their economy went to shit Nd i was able to make a costum unions with them, i must have gotten like 20M americans accros the 15 years b4 they left the union

I'm playing Ottomans in Civ VI and hear me out. Ottomans aren't the sick man in my game. 4 consecutive ages of golden era, Ottoman Australia exists (The whole continent is mine). Ottoman Americas, Ottoman West Africa (Konya's here) and The whole europe has turning to me. I've had 8 cities rebel from their owners and joined me. Ottomans are glorious
