This is BY FAR the best single shot of any SpaceX launch and landing anywhere in the world. And to come from an amateur hand-tracking. ASTOUNDING JOB
Agreed! This is amazing
NEVER gets old. Landed a falling skyscraper with a bottom that catches fire and parked them along side 💪🏾❤
I still maintain that this footage is, by far, the best amateur footage of ANY Space X launch to date. One continuous footage from lift off to landing of the two boosters. I challenge anyone to find any amateur footage of a Space X launch that is any better. Not only that it was all tracked by hand. What a lot of butthurt this has created for Flerfs and space deniers.
Could it be the best amateur footage of any space-related event? If not, I'd appreciate a link! :-)
AdmiralOddSock oh ofc that vid by Destin was awesome !!! There’s also one that i found similar to him, it’s in Binaural Audio too but it’s a night launch from far away, can’t get enough of the sound, frickin awesome ✨
Is it also this guy speaking?
If so, then he's even more awsome. Holding such a high zoom factor steady and in focus and informs the other people about the interesting milestones 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I filmed the entire NBA Finals last year on my phone. It's the best amateur footage and you need to watch it because, little known fact, it wasn't filmed by 200 professional cameras simultaneously. There's only 2 amateur videos and mine is the best.
What is a space denier xD what the fuck
Most days my hope in humanity is low. Watching this brings some of that hope back..
I was thinking the same the thing.
The earth is flat? Are they crazy? It’s a hollow pyramid!
There is no hope for humanity. But there are things like that, outstanding people. So amazing that it's worth it being alive!
You mean Obama didn’t bring you hope 🤔
What exactly does humanity have to do with this?
I love how clearly you can see that the rocket is hitting thinner parts of the atmosphere through the width of the exhaust plume
The landing itself is impressive, but even more impressive is when i realize the size of those things when reaching earth and i start thinking how engineers managed to make those big boys to land like that.
11 minutes*
By analyzing past data of course. SpaceX has experienced multiple failures to make it perfect until now...
NASA wont dare to waste their money like Elon Musk
@@Nightdreaux22647 They tried to reuse the shuttle and were somewhat successful. Two LOC and a what? At best 8 month turnaround in the peak? It's not like they didn't try. And the boosters were fished out of the water but rarely reused if I recall right.
Something the size of the statue of liberty, coming in faster than sound, guiding itself completely autonomously, firing engines at exactly the right instant to stop on a dime and hit the center of a bullseye. It would be like taking a rifle and shooting something the size of a quarter 10 miles away.

@@JimMcBeam Being a Nikon doesn't have jack shit to do with the fact that he films this steadily on a tripod

Been watching launches since Sputnik. By far the best video coverage of a launch I have ever seen. By amateurs, with over the counter equipment. Better than anything by professionals with specialized equipment has ever produced. And the booster recoveries to boot. Fantastic!!!
the boosters landing safely are more amazing than the take-off itself. The gimbals, the precision and everything is nothing comparable to something that's been done since the 40's

the actual farce has been to make disposable engines for like, the past 50 years. when it was all paid by your dosh.
That's a farce, a fucking joke. even though the Shuttle fixed this partly. For a while.
More than the landing the absolute impressive feat is the stability when it fires for the braking! There are massive force in play and this Big tower stay absolutely vertical omg! I think it was the hardest problem to resolve

It's amazing how accurate they are able to land two falling metal rods from space traveling faster than the speed of sound.

This video was captured from about 12km away from the launch site. you can actually calculate that by listening to the sonic boom of the boosters after the start the engine while landing and the time it took those sound to reach the camera.. it was about 37 seconds. multiply that with the speed of sound (340 m/s)...and you get 12.5km

(P.S.).. For anybody wondering... I think he is probably 'intact', and the flow is diverted because of that. The fix for the problem is for the male to uncover the tip when necessary. When that is done the flow is much more controllable. It might be hard to believe, but some males have never realized that, and they can be quite embarrassed if it is explained to them. .. A medical doctor I spoke to cautions that there may be cases where the tip cannot be uncovered, and male hygiene would be extremely difficult. In those cases, the male should be encouraged to visit a doctor. .. (you're welcome)

This is my generation's rocket ship. My dad had the Saturn V and we have the Falcon Heavy.
In a very short period of time you're going to have the BFR.
@@Jason_Family_Man too soon
@@Jason_Family_Man Well, the first and second stages of the Saturn V certainly dropped into the ocean. The third stages either entered solar orbit or were impacted in to the Moon. You can clearly see the Falcon heavy first stages landing. It's second stages usually eventually burn up in the atmosphere, after deploying their payloads.
@@Jason_Family_Man Well, Astrophysics is not something in which one is indoctrinated, but rather educated. I got my Master's, in Astrophysics, in 1994. My thesis project involved the contribution of Wigner crystallization to the cooling of white dwarf stars. However, Astrophysics actually has nothing whatsoever to do with Astronautical Engineering, or orbital mechanics. I worked as an astronautical engineer at JSC during the Space Shuttle days, so I know something about that as well.
You say you want proof that there are artificial satellites orbiting the Earth. What proof would you accept beyond the evidence of your own eyes? There are numerous satellite tracking websites and apps you can download. Here's one; www.n2yo.com . Put in any satellite you've ever heard of, like the space station or Falcon upper stages, and it will tell you when it will be visible in your sky. Get yourself a good pair of binoculars or small telescope and you will be able to see them. Of course, you won't.
@@Jason_Family_Man Well now, you just told me that you knew a great deal about Astrophysics. So, how can it be imaginary? And why are you shouting?
And, like I said, the last thing you would do would be to go to a satellite tracker and actually, you know, *look* at a satellite. Like Galileo's opponents who would never look through his telescope.
Of course satellites are visible from the ground, through a telescope. Actually, if the light is right, you can often see them with the naked eye, as points of light. I've seen them myself, both ways. The space station in particular is always visible, but you will hide in your room rather than look at it.
Here are a few examples: www.space.com/40-spotting-spaceships-earth.html . Don't come back and say they're fake, you can't have it both ways, there are none and they are all fake. They exist and they're very real.
Heliocentrism was scientifically proved by Johannes Kepler using the observations of Tycho Brahe. Every observation since has merely confirmed it. In particular, navigating satellites through interplanetary space, the math on which would be completely different under geocentrism.
I would urge you to read a book on Astronomy, but, of course, that is the last thing you will want to do.
I think this may be one of the most incredible things I have ever seen filmed. Absolutely incredible. Thank you for the patience and concentration. This almost doesn’t even look real! Amazing.
And people still try to say this is fake, lmao. When hundreds of people filmed it and saw it for themselves. I guarantee no Flat Earther will ever go to one of these launches to see it for themselves.
They will sey the people who watching are actor. And CGI
@@NOOBMASTER-rx7bs They already have, lol. Put the comments on Newest First and scroll down until you see a lovely thread started by "B Evans". He thinks this footage is CGI and all the people watching are actors who are "in on it". I'm not even joking, lol.

The only way I can agree with flat earthers is those tools you use to make sure something is level. If the Earth on a micro level is flat but in a macro level is not. We are so small that the earth is flat in perspective to us. And since we are so small, these tools help us measure perceived “flatness”
I think we must stop giving them a podium
