One of the things that I like about painting a Tau army is the fact that their fluff allows you to paint them whatever color you want so long as the stripes are the same color. They have ceremonial uniform colors, but the actual forces can be a hodge-podge of colors if you choose. I have a Green and Grey Sa-Cea Sept Cadre, however all of the Crisis Suits have different colors depending on what conversions I have done and what weapons they have, It is really fun!
Excellent vid. You make it look very easy. Wish I had the same brush control you do but I guess that only comes with practice. Really liked colours and what you did with basing the model.
you really should make a vid telling us what your favorite brush types and brands and other painting tools your prefer are and include in that what you use as a model holder maybe that would help reduce the amount of times you get asked about the tools your use to paint :)
ah oki :) by the way id recommend Windsor and newton series 7 brushes there a little pricy but there well worth it in my experience they hold paint well and keep a point very well even when not treated the best of ways.
Can you (or have you) do a painting tutorial of a dreadnought? I'm thinking of getting Bjorn the fellhanded and no one has a painting tutorial of dreadnoughts let alone him
O'Shovah isn't the name of the Sept, Commander Shovah's territory is called the Farsight Enclaves, and it's comprised of several planets (by the way, "O" is the designation for "commander", so saying "Commander O'Shovah" is redundant). Awesome painting as always, I've been waiting for this one since the unboxing video.
I love your tutorials, but I don't think it's the biggest reason I watch (honestly). I found out about ASMR a little while ago, and your videos' trigger it for. it's like I get goose bumps but in my head/spine.
Guardsmen: SGT! That thing just blasted our tank, what do we do?! Sgt: Hold the line and CHARGE! We strike faster than they do, and he isn't within range for his 6" allied overwatch!! Guardsmen:......um, sir, it still stands at least twice as tall as me, and what is this 6" thing?....I don't think... Commisar: HERESY! *BLAM*
Im missing some details on the weapon. Some highlighting at least would look way bettter. Maybe some rust effects in addition to the battle damage would look great. But aside from that, great choice of colors
I have a dirty mind but imagine if you were talking about a penis. Switch the word paint with penis. My god it's hilarious but I know I shouldn't think about that kind of stuff. :(
Simply beautiful, i painted my crisis like yours and it looks waaaaay better than the ones i painted previously... Thanks so much :)
You don't need to worry about it too much, all it means is that more and more new people are watching your videos and learning :)
Lookin' pretty darn good and ready for table-top action.

wow, this is one of the best looking mini's you have painted on camera, good job!
Excellent vid. You make it look very easy. Wish I had the same brush control you do but I guess that only comes with practice. Really liked colours and what you did with basing the model.
I was desperately looking for tips on how to highlight square armor plating without the use of an airbrush.
You are my heroine!
Love your videos, but the pose on that suit is hilarious.
Looks awesome! i love the battle damage.
Nice colour variation for the Tau!
Nice Job Girl the model looks great
Really nice tutorial, great job. I much prefer it to the green colour you did in the other video. The battle damage looks really cool!
The attention to detail and techniques are splendid, 'eavy metal standards! Thanks for the great video.
Craftypanda thats an insult to eavy metal painters
Awesome model! :)

i don't even play table top games but i love your videos!
Simple color scheme but amazing look. Very nice video. Tho I preferred base with only earthshade wash
Can you please do a tutorial of a hammerhead tank...I love the way you paint your Tau
sweet!
ah oki :) by the way id recommend Windsor and newton series 7 brushes there a little pricy but there well worth it in my experience they hold paint well and keep a point very well even when not treated the best of ways.
I missed some detail on weapons, but still liked it.

Thanks! can I find varnish at wal mart or hobby lobby? or do I need citadel varnish? Thanks for the Info!!
my XV8`ts are snow white painted... Oh and your suite looks like O`shovah Commander now:)
Like all your tutorial its amazing! Thx for all the thing i learned with you :).
Any chance to see a Talons Warps tutorial? :).
Have a good day :).
Should I use Varnish? Will any kind of varnish work?

this is going to sound stupid but im trying to paint my tau and the paint gw paint is so thin im just moving it around and it wont stick
Will you ever do a how to paint a Dreadnought?
may sound silly but did you undercoat the models first using chaos black primer for example?
Guardsmen: SGT! That thing just blasted our tank, what do we do?!

Isn't "Ushabti Stone" the "new" "Bleached Bone"?
stupid question back.. you did undercoat right?

But aside from that, great choice of colors
this your 600th video yay!!!!
Are you sure it's not a wash?
needs to be more 'how to paint' like this
you should try modifying actual battle damage by chipping away at the plastic.
It's primed in grey :)
Wiedermal mit Preußischer Genauigkeit gemalt ^^
AHHH. there is a part 2...
Maybe you need to put a link to it in every video until people get the idea?
GJ
can you use mephiston red
I used Mephiston, it still looked great. Just use heavier layers of shade.
or using a dremel tool
Whoa its Mrs. Doubtfire!
I have a dirty mind but imagine if you were talking about a penis. Switch the word paint with penis. My god it's hilarious but I know I shouldn't think about that kind of stuff. :(
or your adding too much water
GW has bad colorschemes
Your videos are very informing on these topics, I am sorry to say this and I am not hating but I find your voice a bit annoying.
