- I switch wind screens for the weather. Warmer weather means a smaller windshield. This video will show you how to remove the side mirrors to get to the windshield.

Nice Helix video again makes it look just like a Fusion model. I've been enjoying watching all the improvement videos that you've been making on your whole fleet lately. I bought and installed a smaller windshield like that one on on my Helix several years ago right after I purchased it because the original factory shield was too old and hazed up, then I changed it back over to a standard 20" high "Slipstreamer" shield after a few rides because being older I couldn't stand all of that wind beating me up on the open road. I used to enjoy driving my 1500 Goldwing back in the early 2000's with it's controllable vented windshield feature for summer riding and wish that I could find a vent kit to install one on the Helix. Just recently I've seen a windshield made by "Rifle Fairings" who make a clear 23" tall one for the Helix for $119.00, with 3 color tint options for another +$10.00, and "with" an optional vent installed for an extra +$65.00.

I got a similar windscreen. Did you replace that tape on the inside of the plastic piece? I assume it's double sided foam tape
No I didn’t replace it. It looks like a double sided tape. It was in really bad shape when I saw it and couldn’t really tell.
@@MacrossGarage thanks for getting back! Yes mine looked the exact same when I took it off. The replacement didn't seat as well as the OEM and I think that's why. If I try foam and it works I'll let ya know. Thanks again for the reply
What size screw is s that??? I got one with it off I don’t know what size screw it is. Please respond
Which screw? The inside center one? Or the ones that hold the side mirrors?

I can figure out the mirror ones I’m talkin bout the ones that are from the front
