@@ledeux Is that true? Then that's awesome, great news. I remember a year or two ago that they were no longer talking to each other, which was very depressing to know. Super cool.
Further evidence, that the critics, who claim Hulk never put other wrestlers over, are wrong. They would only be satisfied if Hulk was jobbing on a nightly basis. Sorry but Hulk was, and is, the legend of all legends. The fact that he put anyone over at all, is a testament to his good nature.
I just met the Mountie/ Jacques Rougeau in Saskatoon at a Canadian Wrestling Elite show. He was a super nice guy and a class act. He was excited that I was and am an actual Mountie. 😂
I guess that's what Bret was so bitter about, NOT being the first (and only) Canadian to beat Hulk Hogan. Not to mention the publicity Jacques got out of it. 😁
Jacques shared the back story to why Hogan let him win. I don’t remember all the specific details but here goes. He said the British Bulldogs beat him up so bad in the locker room. Left him bloody. Happened a few times and Hulk Hogan saw a few of those assaults. One day Jacques father said to him: “This can’t go on anymore. Stop at the bank” Jacques thought his father was leaning towards him retiring but to his surprise his father told him to go in there and get coin rolls to knock and give it to them. He took the rolls and the next time when they came around to bully and beat him up again Jacques gave them a hell of a beating. If I remember he didn’t retaliate the first times because he knew it would be over for him. So he endured a few beatings here and there. Like I said Hulk and other guys saw that happen so Jacques said Hulk had a soft spot for him because he took all that crap and one day he knocked them out. So Hulk gave permission for Jacques to beat him. That’s why Jacques is so proud about this. It’s like a badge of honour for what he went through like a man. Only Canadian ever to beat Hulk anyways when I heard that on the radio I was first of all disgusted by the British bulldogs. But I said to myself. How many crazzzzzy stories like that we just don’t know. Also Jacques said they did that to A LOT of guys. Specially the new guys. For example this strong tall dude came from Australia. Had long hair. Was suppose to be an outback type character. Said the bulldogs invited him out for a drink. Put a drug to make him pass out in his drink. They shaved his hair and shit in his hat and roughed him up. The guy left the next day for Australia and never wrestled once. They destroyed careers. Fucking scary. As they get older I hope wrestlers start sharing more and more stories like this.
Hey hulk Hogan I was at your shop the last time you weren't there I must have missed you so the next time I go to your Hogan's Beach shop meet me there the next time I see you
Jacques is right about one thing...A shop like this would never make it in Montreal, it's way too tacky for our taste. Toronto on the other hand...maybe. Any crappy, gimmicky and tasteless thematic crass such as this would sell in Toronto.
Hulk Hogan respects the hell out of the Rougeau family.
In such a cutthroat business, it's nice to see genuine moments like this.
Jacques needs to be in the wwe Hall of Fame with his brother
Yes, but I think Vinny Mac is not in a good terms with Jacques.
@@bettermanbest3236 Also sadly the brothers no longer talk to one another, as far as I know. Very sad.
@@jonathanturbide2232 no they are in good term

In his interview 2 years ago, Jacque actually said he wants to visit Hulk in his Tampa restaurant and home. Looks like he did :)
The Mountie always gets his man!
The big boss man finally let him out of jail! 😂🇨🇦
Jacques loved that match. He loved being taken to jail.
It's cool to see the two of them together for those of us who remember the superstars of wrestling TV show!
Jaques needs to be in the hof to legends
It's nice to get a little glimpse of the real life brotherhood fellow wrestlers have.
Two legends! love these guys
I love the Rougeaus they were fun to watch. Hulk is awesome putting over Jacques.

Québec City??? Jacques Rougeau is from St Sulpice, near Montréal.
@@mathewlee5712 Ok ok ok....Province de Québec yeah!
Where is the footage of Hogan getting slap breaking his tooth
It was a promo on WCW in 1997. It was outside of YUL airport, and Rougeau slapped Hogan in the face.
the video down there
😂😅🤣 the only reason I won is bc you let me!! Does anyone else hear gorilla in the background ?
I love Jacques, but it's strange hearing a French guy calling himself a Canadian.
