The original dropped in 1983, it's now 2023, can y'all believe it, 40 years later, it's still a vibe.
Being old enough to remember when the movie came out back in the early 80's, I remember loving the song way back when. I've heard several other bands cover this song over the decades, with VERY mixed results. Firewind just took this song, made it their bitch, and absolutely OWNED every single note from beginning to end. This is the greatest cover version of this iconic 80s tune I've ever heard. Lightning in a bottle that will NEVER be surpassed imho!.
