That scene with Jessie Plemons really got to me, it really made me look at my own life and think, I would never wanna get to that dark place where I wouldn't have any empathy for anybody.
The other scene that hits is the lynching of a former classmate for “looting”. And you’ve then got the guy posing for a photo. That whole sequence was so well done. Just terrifying and frighteningly plausible.
