Hi Guys,
I wanted to upload this video at the start of the year for two reasons; one, I haven't done one before and thought you'd enjoy to see my full house and two, I have quite a bit planned for what I want to do in some of the rooms so would be good to get your opinion.
I've tried to include where most things are from but if there is anything I haven't mentioned and you want to know please let me know in the comments.
For reference we moved into our home 2.5 years ago. It was a new build home from Barratt Homes called the Alnwick.

a suggestion for the space beside the fireplace near the window would be a bookshelf or an accent shelf with some plants and maybe some coffeetable books or something of the like 😁 You have a lovely home! Thanks for sharing this with us!
that's a really good idea, I did think about a shelf but I'm not very good at styling :)

In the guest bedroom i would say put 2 shelved one above the other but slighly staggered.

Very nice house tour btw. Regarding your utility room, have you considered moving the Kallax unit so that it’s back is against the right-hand wall, facing the units. This will make the room look even better.
Thanks Andrew. I did think about that but as the radiator is there there stick out too much and make it difficult to get to the washing machine. Good idea though :)

Thank you so much. Honestly, I love our fire, I feel like it's really created a centre piece in the living room and makes it feel so cosy :). We got our blinds from Blind Direct :)
In the lounge I would put a consul table either side of the fireplace with large lamps on each.

Just to say that we had under stair storage put in and such a good idea, it wasn’t cheap but a great tidy storage area.
You have such beautiful views too, a wise buy, a great position, we have Ikea bookcases in our lounge area now, either side of our tv, I love to see our books on display, this may not appeal to everyone but our books are a part of who we are, we are older than you though.
I’d love a utility room, I understand that you have limited space in there, guess the only way to gain more space would be to have a washer/dryer combined but I’ve had one and wasn’t that impressed, if you did you could have storage space in place of the tumble drier.
I hope you realise how talented and likeable you are, so down to earth too,

Lovely house. Odd question. How reliable have your window blinds been generally. I’m buying a new build and almost all my radiators are under windows and I don’t really want to cover them but every blind i’ve used in the past has jammed / snagged at some point. Have you ever seen in window curtains instead of blinds in a bedroom windows? Thanks
Thank you :) Generally they have been ok but can be quite loose in the ceiling but we've had this when putting curtain poles up too. I don't think I have no sorry

Hi, we live in Northamptonshire and similar houses are currently selling for around £350k but that varies hugely depending on exact location and development. Hope that helps and you find your dream home :)

Good lord what is with ALL the mirrors! I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many in one house and then you are gonna add another mirror to the spare room which ahead has 4 mirrors!l🙈🙈🤣🤣 what is going on with that. Perhaps you just like your own reflection 🤷♀️ otherwise why so many 🤣🤣
