As a former USAF Controller (1976-1983), I never get tired of flying related "stuff", and the interaction with ATC. Did two round trip jump seat flights with the old Southern Airways from Panama City FL. to Boston MA. back then, and it was the experience of a lifetime. Great job...

Landed at PDK today in my trusty Cirrus rental from KNEW. Saw a Barron next to me we a dark haired girl and wondered if it was Captain Val. Well, indeed it was.

While the Baron is a highly capable plane, the pilot workload can get heavy. Val has a relaxed but confident handle on it that is a pleasure to watch.
Great music as always, also i like the blue tape on the prop levers, it makes them easily identifiable

Late comment. I would feel absolutely comfortable flying with here She is very precise and safe pilot. You too Steve. There is another blog with a couple of young guys and they are always grab a####g in the cockpit - passing around junk food etc. No clowning around in the cockpit!!!!!!

Nice job Val your quite the generous host and a great twin engine pilot. SteveO did a great job as co pilot and commentator of all that was going on during the flight. I’d say Val scored a perfect 10 only because I wasn’t riding along with you all. Loved that song at the end of the video “Hands across the Water” Paul McCartney did well on that lyric.

Great pilots that know the elements of flying that create fantastic flights ... The turbo Baron is a fantastic bird & my multi , instrument ratings were a dream come true ! Valorie reminds me of my girl friend that flew with me on many flights ! Fun days especially after she got her license that became a lot of help with the complex instrument & heavy traffic airports .. ! Nothing like having a beautiful co-pilot lover to make flying even better than one cannot imagine without my future wife !

Excellent flight and video. I did get vertigo a few times due to it being a small plane. But was great fun watching all the maps and hearing the communications back and forth.

i feel like sailing has more freedom, flying seems so regimented, you gotta check in to atc all the time and follow so many rules.
Wait 'til the government gets hold of sailing.

Another great video Steveo ! Capt Val is an amazing pilot and no doubt the prettiest captain in the skies. This Baron gets up and goes apparently. I flew a Baron when building time and loved that airplane, other than the aggravating door latch. It had a Colemill conversion and would get up quick. Safe skies guys !

Well that is what you need is a talented good looking gal like Val to team up with, could be a whole new twist to your videos and you would have more company on your flights Steve. And I've already been wondering when you go to a bigger plane like a twin. Not that you don't have a nice plane now in the TBM but 2 engines will give you more peace of mind with all the over water flights as you do. Great job Valerie and Steve-o ;-)
