I love this music not only by the way it sounds, but by taking pride in my ancestry, even though I've never been to Finland, I'd love to visit sometime. This music gives me a great sense of pride that is hard to explain, and I think too many people don't understand that and miss the whole point of Ensiferum's music. Hail from USA!

Language/Culture: The countries of Sweden, Denmark and Norway are traditionally Scandinavian, i.e. they speak North Germanic (Scandinavian) languages. The main language in Finland is Finnish, which is a Finnic language, which in turn belongs to the Uralic language family which is completely different language family than the one that the Germanic languages belong to (the Indo-European one).
As with much of Ensiferum's music, I find a great deal of inspiration in this song. I credit their music with helping me through many difficult times in my life, and for leading me to chose the path of the Warrior.
