Strickland’s composure, cardio, and volume, is really impressive. His style reminds me of both Diaz brothers in their prime.

His style is amazing. He stands in front of you, flicks the jab, and tests your defenses constantly.
The second he finds an opening, he throws bombs.
He improved a lot with poatan
i always say he fights like someone who became master at low tier character. Because a lot of things I wouldn't recommend but he got good at it. Upright stance. light front leg. he throws arm punches. The jab is his money punch.
@@tgo007 Yeah, and he is 100% efficient. He knows when to turn it up and finish his opponents. It's a weird, but effective style reminiscent of Chuck Liddell. Chuck had a very wide stance 100% open to straight attacks, but he could stuff a takedown and throw bombs. It was simple, but effective.
I gotta put some respect on his name for this, it takes balls to train with the guy that KO'd you and improve your style like that, abussy gassed and Sean put it on him with steadily poking and finding the power shots

There were people in videos, leading up to this thinking, Strickland was going to get destroyed. I kept telling them do not bet on him losing because I guarantee you he won’t. You’re putting a new guy in a five round fight with a cardio monster. I hope they listened. I know I did pretty good on DraftKings. I had Strickland in every lineup. Plus a few my other guys did pretty good.

The incredible defence skills, the reflexes from endless sparring, the walking down once he found a weakness, the bombs through multiple combos, the no quit after crazy eye poke, the trash talk and letting Abus think that he would get another first round finish and let him gass out.
