There is something utterly charming about Roger Taylor learning to play Irish folk music in this performance.

I love it
As someone who grew up with the corrs and loves drumming Toss the feathers is always a fun one to play. Simon Phillips did an absolute banging job on the album version and Caroline does a great job live. It is a hard song to play to if you aren't used to playing celtic/rock music. I always laugh when I see people like Mick Fleetwood and Roger Taylor attempt it because it takes them right out their comfort zone and funnily enough Roger does the same thing Mick Fleetwood did which was reply on your rider. But credit for giving it a try.
Agree. Mick Fleetwood & Roger Taylor were quite off covering TTF. It's not their genre and I guess every drummer's rythm and style really depend on the type of music they grew up listening and playing to. Nonetheless, Simon Phillips was AMAZING in the original track. Many people refer him as the best drummer ever. High level of skills and technique. @@alexalston3001 They never had to bring drummers in to play it live 2 times it was performed with another drummer through all 5 of their world tours the song has been performed live as the last song on the set list with just Caroline on drums so my guess it you aren’t a fan or even actually know anything. As for Simon Philips he did say the song allowed him freedom on the kit and he took full advantage of that as can be heard in the album version but by all means continue…
It's nice to see Roger out & about. Cool song. I just wish the drum solo was about 4 times longer! lol. The punches in the middle are totally Roger!

I never knew this existed and what a beautiful surprise. I have several of The Corrs recordings. I knew they recorded with the Chieftains but I never knew they played a song with Roger. Now wouldn't it be interesting if the Royalty of Rock (Brian and Roger) did a track with the Paddy Moloney (An Irish traditional music LEGEND). BEfore you slay me with negative comments, The Rolling Stones have recorded a rather raucous version of Rocky Road to Dublin with the Chieftains. Nicely done Roger!

Caroline certainly out played Roger, who seemed completely lost. The ONLY one to ever play this & will never be out played by anyone is the original Simon Phillips.
And the pair of them couldn't match Simon Phillips on the original studio version!

+Lindsay T - way off the mark, IMO. Caroline Corr is truly an excellent drummer / percussionist. She plays with great passion and precision. Her work is spot on appropriate for the music she and her siblings make. More would be less and distract from the whole that is The Corrs's music. The Corrs do not need a rocking Roger Taylor or Keith Moon. With Caroline, they have exactly what their sound needs.
