Jim's case is almost same with mine except that I have 4 years experience as a support worker with cert III in Disability (Individual Support) and currently studying Community Services in Tasmania. I'm not fully confident in the IT. Once I get a job here in Tasmania and complete the PY program I think I am fully set for 491.

Hi Karl, I have around 2000 hours of disability support work experience (one and a half years), but it is casual; my employer told me because I have been a casual worker, they couldn't sponsor me :( because immigration requires one year of full-time experience or equivalent part-time. Planning to study Master in Data Science but the SOL list does not have Data Scientist or something related to Data Science. I m 37 yrs old lady, living with two kids and husband in Melbourne for 2 years. We r holding bridgingv A, applied for protection visa (my hsband) due to some circumstances. I want to go for some skilled kind of visas which can lead to PR without travel restrictions. I did cert III in comrcl cokry, after that started Dip of Nursng to get a better pathway.
Now what should I do to make the path more clear. Would it be a good decision to gain some experience in regional Victoria or (especially in DAMA) regions as PCA or work in the city. My TAFE campus is in city.
The main concern is that where work experience help me more for my visa processing.

Hi Karl, I received an invitation for 491 from NSW but when contacted RDA they said quota is complete. What happens if quota is completed with all other RDAs where my job is available. I am 133111 CPM.

I just wanted to ask if you are offshore and you wanted to work in aged care what type of certification do you need I have my certification for medical assistant here in the United States with that suffice or what I need to have a different type of certification? Also would I need to have a certain amount of work experience in the aged care sector I did work in aged care but I worked privately I was hired by a family to take care of their elderly mother and I did that for a year. Hi Karl, I have done my MBIS in SA and thinking about starting my Professional year. However, I am not confident in finding a job in IT. I have just started working full time as a Customer Service Assistant manager in a supermarket which is in SA Skilled Occupation list. From my research I have to do atleast a diploma because this Occupation is under skill level 2. I have seen people treat so badly all the old age people with cruelty, they should not get any visa if the behaviour like this should be deported and cancel their visas.
