    Thank you. I do not drink, but I order or go get wine to give my sister-in-law as a gift. Hopefully it was not too hot in transport.

    If you buy your wine already in a fridge do you need to keep it in a fridge when you get home or can you leave it on counter? Thanks for your time.

      Hi Chris! If you are going to drink the wine right away then you can leave it on the counter, but if it’s a white wine you will want to keep it chilled regardless. Red wine that you will drink the same day you can leave it on the counter. If you won’t drink it immediately you will want to put it in a cold fridge to preserve the wine

    I learn a lot thanks I buy expensive wine how do u no what wine to get that wii go up in price and do the points really matter

    • @AshleyDrummonds
      @AshleyDrummonds  Před 2 lety

      I don’t pay attention to points because each person as individual preferences on tastes. To figure out what wines will go up in price, wines that are low production (they only make a few cases a year) will always be valuable. Also, wines that age well and are rare to find will go up in price also

    Hey great vid, can I just use a stopper on and leave it cold cellar after opening, that won’t spoil it or should I keep in fridge for red wine

    • @AshleyDrummonds
      @AshleyDrummonds  Před 2 lety

      If you have a cold cellar that will work too. The fridge is a recommendation for those who don’t have a cellar. Typically with wine after it’s been open you really don’t want to go longer than about 2-3 days before finishing it.

    Can we store wine in steel bottle 🍾 in fridge

    Great video and informative but I would talk about the best way to preserve wine (vacume seal). I was hoping there was a better way to warm up cold wine out of the fridge but I guess I don't have patience :D and I feel bad for your cut on your finger ;/

    • @AshleyDrummonds
      @AshleyDrummonds  Před 3 lety +1

      Lol yea best way to warm up cold wine is letting it naturally come to room temperature or you can pour it in a glass and use your hands around the bowl of the glass to warm it up as well :)

      @@AshleyDrummonds it's funny I naturally did that last night and it really helped warm it up. Desparate times calls for desperate measures.

    What if my wine was stored in cool and dark place but bottles were upright, I’ve laid them down now, is it still ok ? they had been standing upright like that for about 7 days.

    • @AshleyDrummonds
      @AshleyDrummonds  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes they will still be good! The only thing you have to check when they are upright is to make sure the cork didn’t dry out, but if they’re fairly new bottles of wine then you should be good 👍🏻 Storing them in a cool, dark place is perfect

    If I put it in the fridge and take it out can I leave it out and out it back in later?

    • @AshleyDrummonds
      @AshleyDrummonds  Před 3 lety

      You can, but you usually want to at least put it back into the fridge within a couple hours to preserve it. Don't leave it out over night.
