I wanted to say that this bass sound amazing! However, all your videos sounds incredible! So I don't know how much of it is just the bass and how much of it is the bass player and other equipment. How do you achieve this 3D sound in all your videos? Any mastering tool?
Thanks for your comment! The signal chain is the same for all videos and is basically very simple: Bass - Apogee Duet 3 Audiointerface - Logic Pro X. I never use additional preamps or equalizers. In post-production, I add a very transparent compressor to the bass track (Fabfilter PRO-C 2 with usual bass settings). Then I finalize the track with an EQ that removes everything below 35Hz and use an transparent Limiter (Fabfilter PRO-L 2) to increase the volume. Sometimes I add another compressor ( mostly an SSL-style bus compressor) to the ouput channel to glue the tracks together and add some punch. That's it - no expensive equipment or special tricks. I think it's more important to setup the basses perfectly and use suitable drum sounds for the respective bass sounds.

Könnt ihr bitte eine Bassbuch rausbringen. Die Fusion Riffs sind so cool. Liebe die Riffs beim Lakland Skyline Test. Kommt schon Leute. Ganz ohne Schnörkel oder Schule. Einfach groovige licks für Inzermediate, da gibt's viel zu wenig
