What a fantastic car. Well built, enough power, no gimmicks, no overly aggressive styling. No touch buttons
Nicest Civic of all time, IMO. Inside and out. New dashboard is one of the most handsome of ANY car on the market in ANY price range. It's closer to my ideal balance of a blend of technology and knobs and buttons. Toyota tried recently to do similar, but their effort looks ugly in comparison.
Can't wait! I absolutely love the car, they nailed it this time.
Agree. They messed up the rear of the previous Civic and didn't have the dashboard down. This model solves both.
Thanks for the video !
Does this not come with the full LED dash option?
Nice new design
Bought a brand new 2023 sport in the blue. Being made and will be delivered this November-December. Will be better than my sonata at least Lmfao
My Civic UFO has got bigger boot plus smart seats. But when this car gonna be 3 years old I'm gonna buy one cause it's beautiful. And since I drove first honda I became a honda fan :)
Does it have a backup camera to use when backing out in reverse?
yes, as you can see in this video
I wonder about the tank cap - the 10th generation has an integrated one that you don't have to unscrew?!
good q
For the hybrids, they keep the normal gas cap because it keeps it more pressurized and allegedly gets SLIGHTLY better MPG as a result. The Honda Insight had the same thing, and this is their reasoning they said. I personally would rather have the capless style and sacrifice 0.5 to 1 MPG for it.
What color is this?
they should put the Gas Meter up for easy checking
I hate the sunroof.
I've been looking for a honda civic hatchback. But I've been having problems finding the right color and right one..
Because I live in the U.S. I would be interested to know what will be the U.S. version of the Honda Civic hybrid. Some things I’ve noticed in the European version of the hybrid that are different from the gas powered Civics in the U.S. like a gas cap instead of capless; ventilation in the rear seat compartment, which I like and that they’re missing in the U.S. version. I also like the European push-button setup for the transmission, and not the old fashioned, gear selector that occupies space. However, I’m disappointed that the Honda Civic hybrid is missing the moonroof, which is a deal breaker for me.
The Advance trim has a sunroof. The one thing that's missing in our version that you do get in the US, is the remote engine start feature. Leaving your car unattended / parked with its engine on is illegal in most (all?) EU countries. Imho cars like this, which mostly start in "EV" mode should be exempt. Being able to start your car remotely and warm it up in the winter / cool it down in the summer is absolutely priceless.
I'm aware it's not exactly eco-friendly, but I doubt the main contributor to climate change is a few cars idling for a couple of minutes while the owner gets ready to take the kids to school.
Thank you for playing with the options. Very few reviewers actually do that
There is some piano black on the dash. Would have preferred none. I have yet to find one person who likes living with piano black. The lines they have on the central drive-mode column could have been what they used instead all the black in the rest of those areas.
I just purchased the 2023 Honda Civic Sport 2.0L but it doesn't have the blind spot and some features like this one 😔
Is it me or is this exactly the same thing as the 2022?
This is the e:HEV, a.k.a. Hybrid model.
Sport trim is missing Bose sound system
I have the Civic Fk7
But this new one I want to change it out with this Civic Hybrid
Real shame they lost the twin center tail-pipes from the previous Sport model. The sport has very little to differentiate it from the other variants now.
It’s a bummer we are not getting this trim in the US.
What trim are we getting in the us
Nice car but what is the price
It’s not defined yet…
Cap on the fuel tank? lol, mine 10th civic sport plus have capless.
Yours and mines also comes with 1.5 turbo while these don't 🤭 I was ready to trade but for what, looks? These new ones are more expensive, less trunk space, slow etc.. your technically spending more to downgrade for looks..
I personally prefer the former model, it looks cooler, more sporty but this looks just OK in my opinion!
Lol fk7 is Riced up
No spare tire I buy now
Hyvä " heppa"
Well hello handsome
Shame we won't get a manual version in Europe.
Since there aint no gearbox, transmisson whatsoever...
FOLDABLE ENTERTAINMENT? NO? NO BUY!
What you taking about?
Nice review, a.u... but tbh I'm disappointed: the cockpit/front is messy and kitch, different materials and styles thrown at, mostly dust collectors (try to clean the grill that streches sidewise...). The back is dull and the view is very limited for reverse (you have to rely on the cam). As expensive as it is they could have planned a better interior.
I mean the car has been out for a while in North America and no one said that the grille got dirty and was hard to clean, it doesn't really attract dust, the piano black is much harder to keep clean. And the inteior is less busy than other cars in this segment
If the camera is the same unit with the same features as in Jazz ehev then it is awesome! Multiple camera angles makes features of your neck obsolete. :D
What color is your Honda Civic ? :))
Availabe as hybrid in Europe only - but sadly not as plug in hybrid, so it does not makes sense from my point of view. The parcel shelf as a roller blind is also a bit primitive. As usual, a fixed cover would be better.
I agree the shelf is cheap and unpractical. PHEV are bad better go fully electric with a BEV.
@@JRCarReviewsI am against fully electric vehicles. They are not environmental friendly, the battery needs that much ressources, to get Lithium the environment will be destroyed, to produce an electric car causes that much CO2 that it has to run 60000 Km or more before the CO2 balance will be better than an combuster engine (ironic: most batteries don't reach that range, so they have to be replaced earlier and that causes resources and CO2 pollution again). I think a better alternative would be alternate fuels as hydrogene or synthetic fules. Regular combuster engines can be modified and will run with that fuels. In combination with plug in hybrid technology with small batteries (for only a few KM "inner city range") that would be the best combination and would save recources and would reduce the worldwide CO2 pollution.
The rolling cover is more expensive to put than a regular removable and is more convenient since it just rolls away and you don't have to think about storing it anywhere and the regular ones often get lost by the owners, rolling covers used to be a third party accesory
@@shivamarya5225 "...regular ones often get lost by the owners.." LOL 🤣 I have never lost a parcel shelf, how is that supposed to work? While I drive?? 😁
@@joedi6339good for you that you never lost a tunnel cover many do. People generally take the removable covers in their garages, i take them out when I need the space and then forget to put them back, the rolling one just gets out of your way
