    External power switches - What does EXT1 power up, I don't think you mentioned that? I cannot find any information about these switches in the user manual so your video is a great source of information. Thanks

      Hi. I should have said "the remainng switches EXT 5&1 are powering the outlet under the bonnet". Sorry. those two cables are directly next to each other in the engine bay. If you need pictures, email me grenadier.exploring@gmail.com

    Very useful, Thank you - Love the Electrical distribution system, so easy to hook up lights... Who made your MOLLE Panels over the outside windows, do you like them, and do you use them much

    • @grenadier_exploring
      @grenadier_exploring  Před 2 měsíci

      haven´t tried that. it seems to require a little more effort since the screws are behind some panels etc.! but i have seen the backrests removed on the internet. maybe you find info about that on theineosforum.com

    I regret not getting the High Road Auxiliary Switch. I can't make changes on my order bc it's in production. Does anyone know if it is pre-wired and just missing the panel switches?

  • @JacquelineGeorge51
    @JacquelineGeorge51 Před 11 měsíci

    Ah. You have things easy with access to the number 5 switched outlet (the 10A one). I have a relay box (?) at that location and no sign of any wires. Can't see the wiring loom under it, but can feel and nothing there. Reluctant to start dismantling stuff just in order to search for something that may not be there... I'd post a pic here but no idea how to do that.

    • @grenadier_exploring
      @grenadier_exploring  Před 11 měsíci

      do you have the winch?
      in my case (and other grenadiers i checked), the cable ends are easy to spot and clearly to see.

    • @JacquelineGeorge51
      @JacquelineGeorge51 Před 11 měsíci

      @@grenadier_exploring No winch, but I want to install a deer (kangaroo) alarm and that switched outlet would be ideal. The component layout in my engine bay seems totally different - possibly because of right hand drive? If you are interested, I could send pics - do you have Facebook or somewhere I can send by message?

    • @grenadier_exploring
      @grenadier_exploring  Před 11 měsíci

      sure. Ingemar Rodler on facebook or Grenadier_Exploring on instagram.
      I will do some research on that as well and how the version affects the position of those outlets.
      are you aware of the www.theineosforum.com ? they have tons of detailed infos and discussions going on there as well. super nice for grenadier owners.

      @@grenadier_exploring Thanks. Yes, the Forum is good They helped very quickly on an SOS call when we found the normal diesel pumps at the fuel stations in country Queensland don't fit the Grenadier. That was a surprise... I'll send a couple of pics for your reference to your Facebook. No-one has been able to help with my 10A outlet though...

      @@grenadier_exploring Hi Ingemar, I have just had an update from the sales agency in Cairns (Westco) that they have checked a couple of Grenadiers looking for this outlet and they can't find it either. They will be taking up the question with INEOS. Watch this space...

    Thank You for beginning this series of videos. Once a rear seat BOTTOM is removed, will its corresponding seatback then be able fold down (almost) flat?

    • @grenadier_exploring
      @grenadier_exploring  Před rokem +1

      it won’t change the behavior of the seatback. but it will give you more space in the foot area of the backrow and more length behind the front seats. understandable? 😬
      i installed the dog crate behind the drivers seat for our trip to the north cape. removing the seat bottom allows me to move further forward with the crate and not waste any space. i will try to show that in one of my next videos

    • @grenadier_exploring
      @grenadier_exploring  Před rokem +1

      (the 18cm step will always be there. but the seatback is horizontal when u remove the headrest - with or without the bottom part)

      @@grenadier_exploring If an 18cm thick pad or box were placed behind the hinge line of the flat folded rear seatback, perhaps a continuous horizontal surface for sleeping could be created?
