@@JS-yb9if sorry for the late reply but people just use a dirtbike engine which already has a transmission built in to it.
Oh oh oh it feels soooooo good when you build your own stuff plan ,reserch,engineer, execute,that project. What about adding a firewall between the engine and the seat .... for safety and ...... don't you feel heat on your right shoulder???
Saurabh Aswale you don't really feel the heat especially if you are at cruising speed, for safety is another thing, but costly to the overall maintenance time by added complexity to structure and usable space.

Idk how its called in english but you should get a adapter for the steering collum or however its called to ajdust the steering angle.
Cuz the angle is closer to truck driving than car driving.
Should be very cheap to get.

Thats cool dude well done. I have an rare old bug stinger shifter kart that i want to put a real shift motor setup in which is how i found you video. But i dont want to modify the frame. I also have an 05 sentra se-r spec-v with a hand built air to water turbo kit by 2j racing. On stock internals shes right at 300hp which is a blast but im shooting for 5 to 600 thats still street drivable.

What did you use for a shifter and to hook up the clutch
Watch the rear brakes only, it will spin u under a car if you gotta hit them too quick.

This year at my highschhool, im in my second to last year here in nz, we are building gokartsvin auto class and im gonna do a rebuikd series on mine and chuck in either a 125 2 stroke, 250 4 stroke, or 125 4 stroke

Yeah, I have an 80cc 5 speed race kart with the right gearing it can hit up to 100mph. It’s a way cheaper alternative over building one.

What color correct do you use lol? I mean presets or do you color correct yourslef?
How did you.get it running? I got an engine from pcc motors turns on spark/air and fuel, asoon as i pull throttle is dies out on me. Cleaned gas tank put new carb and it does same thing thinking of putting a mukini carb now, it idles good ... Just dies when i want to take off..

There are a couple wires that need to be moved around going to the CDI. Just google a wiring schematic for a lifan 200cc and go from there

Looks good, I build one when I was 17 in high school, used a 125 Honda, clocked 140kmh.
Was scary fast when those reeds opened up.

Weight distribution, caster angle and a whole bunch of other stuff makes me wanna cry a bit, tbh
But nice job man, you’ve put effort in a really powerful and fun to drive thing, which makes you happy, so i love that 😊
what were the problems that you had to fix, cuz i cant' get my motor to start cranking, the spark clicks one i press the starter but it doesn't start to crank?
If you crank and hear nothing charge your battery. If you hear a whirring sound, check starter and make sure its not resting on the flywheel. If it sounds like its trying to start, but won't, then make sure it sounds like it has compression. If it does, check spark plug. If plug is good, spray carb cleaner into the intake and see if it starts for a couple seconds. If it starts, then the problem is either plugged fuel line or carb. If no compression, check that the valves are all seated, unstuck, and not broke or bent. If one of valves isn't moving, check the pushrods to make sure they're making good connection with camshaft. If that's all good you should have compression. Buy a new starter if you keep hearing whirring sound and starter keeps sticking to flywheel.

Does this engine require a clutch or is it a semi auto motor ?
A lot of people build these karts with pit dirt bike motors because they have no clutch but you can shift
Anthony Rodriguez it does have a clutch, use it to get into 1st. Then from 2 to 5 it’s sequential.
