    Thanks for the assembly demonstration. Just bought one of these machines
    Definitely not a production machine, but as a hobby equipment that only gets used a few times a year, should do the trick

    After watching a lot of reviews I ended up adding two Toolcker 1x30 for my sharpening business instead of a Wen. I also added two Wen 10" wet sharpeners but ending up returning them, due to several issues, and ending up buying another Tormek T8 . When my only 1x30 died I bought two Toolcker 1x30 belt grinder's I have been using them for about a month and am impressed with the quality. After a bad bad experience with the Wen wet sharpener's I'm not sure if I will try Wen products again

      You are very correct! Please go to minute 7:16. There is sound of the machine running and a decibel reading.
      Thanks

    Changing the belt is a major pain on this sander.

    Will this grind metal?

      For small finish work yes, which is what I primarily use this for. Not something you’d use to hog away a lot of material. A lot depends on the type of metal and the belt’s coarseness.

    Thank you! The instructions didn't make a lot of sense because the pics are zoomed in so close, you can't see where ON THE MACHINE to install things. Your video was a big help!

    Does it like stop when u push hard?

    • @reuserebuildredeem8392
      @reuserebuildredeem8392  Před 11 měsíci

      Most of the smaller horsepower motors can be stopped by pushing too hard.
      Pushing too hard usually generates a lot of heat which is not good, esp if you’re grinding metal. Too much heat will soften the metal and change its hardness. Basically tempering.
      Also, pressing too hard will dull your sanding discs/belts unnecessarily fast and gum them up with the wood dust.
      Either way your better off with taking your time.
      For the hobbyist, these small sanders work just fine. If you’re going for heavy work, get something with more horsepower. You’ll be able to remove a lot more material much faster.
