Ghosts could be Sinners and Winners who either chose not to pass on to the afterlife or were unable to.
IIRC, in episode 1 when Blitz starts pushing the panic button, there was an alarm that said "Ghost", alongside one for Stolas, Client Giving Birth, soiled my pants, etc.

Maybe the reason stolas didn't mention the envy possessors is they don't actually leave hell to possess people. Perhaps sort of like astral projection where the physical bodies remain in hell but their spirits possess people on earth. Might also explain why blitz didn't immediately recognize that a possessor was causing the supposed haunting since they're not there physically only spiritually.
Or they could have just gone rogue. That or leviathan has gone rogue and decided to terrorise earth for some reason.
Well, Stolas was talking to Asmodeus, plus he said the Succubi are "Some of the only ones that can travers freely and legally", so it doesn't necessarily exclude Possessors being allowed on Earth. Maybe it depends on the nature of the sin meant to spread, or the uniqueness of the demon sent on Earth.
What's funny with the "we dont know what Millie is even like beyond a wife because she gets no focus" narrative is all these episodes show she is exactly the same Millie and is fiercly protective of all her loved ones, hot tempered, and just exudes playful joy over simple pleasures. It wasn't Millie as an accessory. It was Millie being Millie and they projected a one-dimensional 'wifey' classification onto her.
It was never hard to get a sense of who she was!
Still glad to see these gals getting focus and screen time.
I don't think the problem was just that we didn't know who she was, it was we didn't know who she was with other people. For that reason, all of who she was was focused solely on Moxxie. It's not projecting the wife trope on her, she literally was just "Moxxie's wife" for a while. Like, how does Millie bounce off of other characters besides Moxxie? How does she behave when she just gets time to narratively breathe and just be by herself or introspective? That's what people want to see. Which we'll definitely get with Ghostfuckers. Though, Unhappy Campers didn't feel like a Millie focused episode at all despite being labeled as such. It was all about Moxxie and his feelings of insecurity and self-worth issues. The short of Hell's Belle's did more for her character than that entire episode did.
2:31 Still convinced Glitz and Glam are Sirens, effectively succubi who migrated from Lust to Envy and evolved overtime to become aquatic, much like how some terrorize Succubi were originally Imps who evolved to fly when they moved from Wrath to Lust.
I doubt the different species are derivative of one another. Maybe Glitz and Glam are simply an hybrid between a Succubi/Incubi and a Possessor.
Each ring could also just have their own versions of imps and succubi
@@cam_luong Forget "could", they do-Wrath imps are the smallest variants, Lust imps have wings, and there are of course the various horn shapes.
@JamesDavy2009 Yeah lol, I just didn't want to pass it off as canon even though worldbuilding points to it all the time. M&M are significantly shorter than Blitz and they're from Wrath, as well as the imps singing Striker's theme, those fish-like imps at the hospital seem very obviously from Envy, etc.
Edit: Just checked Harvest Moon, Moxxie was born in Wrath, but raised in Greed.

SC just dropped a really interesting theory about the ‘Ghost’ being what happens when a Sinner somehow manages to leave Hell. Wondering if there’s any validity to that.
I do like the idea of the new episodes, because the angels will finally be included, because they just disappeared one day, just like the agents, but luckily both of them teamed up, I can’t wait to see that episode.

I love how this doesn't feel like a sloppy fix for underused characters either. The cherubs almost definitely have no way to access hell and enact revenge, and from what we know of heaven, they hate hell. They've probably wanted to attack it their whole lives, just couldn't because of heavenly rules to abide by. And the dhorks also definitely want to invade hell, so their teamup genuinely makes a lot of sense to me. Their common interests match up perfectly. Plus, it explains both of their absenceses thus far. They've been busy finding each other and working on the portal. I was genuinely expecting those side plots to be annoying and/or become irrelevant, but they're still fitting in smoothly from what the trailer shows.
This team up will give imp a challenge and show them to not underestimate your enemies
We gotta remember that while a lot of time has passed between the episodes being released, it won't be so apparent that the characters haven't been seen in a while once you're able to rewatch the series in full. Plus season 1 was establishing the setting, lore, characters and villains and everything. Season 2 onward is meant to be the real meat and potatoes.
@@6Mourning6Star6 it seems that these villains are getting serious upgrades. IMP are going to learn it the hard way. It appears that IMP really need serious training and upgrades themselves. Since the agents got a portal to Hell, this will cause more problems. The bad thing is that the agents have no idea what they're unleashing and they're way in over their heads along with the Cherubs. There are consequences down the line.
If the Possessor gets defeated and ran back to the Envy Ring and inform Leviathan about two Imps meddled in his business, will it be enough reason to make Leviathan appeared on the screen?
I don't think a sin prince would care about a singular possessor being out of a job, especially just a motel owner, but who knows. Leviathan and Satan might show up in the court scene, because Mammon we know is there and Satan appears to be there as well as the Goetias, so it could be Stolas and/or Blitzo on trial. And because of the severity the seven princes are there.
@cam_luong I don't think all of royalty would be there. That's a bit of a stretch. But probably Satan since he's the patron of imps. And some Ars Goetia.
@LumaSloth I don't mean they'll be there for no reason, just that *if* Leviathan was going to be on screen these next few episodes, it would be more likely for it to be for a big event. Like a high ranking prince of the Goetia family being on trial. But I agree, I don't know if they'll all be there. Mammon will probably be a witness or lie about stuff just to get back at Blitzo and Fizz in turn. As for Satan, maybe a judge of sorts or at least helping decide the outcome and punishment.
I am so glad you made me notice that Blitz looks possessed so his fight against Millie might not be a conflict between them

Yeah, Possessors seem all realted in a way to haunting their victims. Glitz and Glam for example remind me of the sirens from Greek mythology, being amazing singers and also being able to use their fins/wings to both fly and swim (the greek sirens were often depicted more as women with the body of a bird, similarly to harpies, more than the modern fish-women hybrids, closer to the mermaids from scandinavian myths).
It would be nice if the characters started actually mention the other species (Loan Sharks from Greed, Possessors from Envy and "Baphomets" from Sloth) by their names.
A dilapidated hotel, a murky fish-man behind the counter and chthonic horror - this is a clear nod to Howard Lovecraft.

I really like the Possessors! Since the trailer revealed that Possessors can possess the bodies of other demons, wouldn’t that mean that they would be more feared by the other species for this type of power?
4:36 Something interesting I want to point out about Blitzø and Millie still dressing up is that this implies they prefer to not create actual human forms for themselves the way Succubi naturally can, or how Barbie Wire does using the crystal.
Maybe this implies one of the episodes before this shows the I.M.P gang going on a mission on earth, testing out the use of human forms, and deciding they prefer dressing up?
We don’t know if Blitzø even actually takes the Asmodean crystal in Full Moon or if they use it right after. We only see them use it in Mastermind (episode 11). Which is after Ghostf**ckers, maybe they use it for the first time in Mastermind.
I’m still convinced that the envy ring is like an everlasting Florida beach side .
It'd be like one of the Keys for in my headcanon the Envy terminal of the Helevator would be on an island.
honestly id love if the shorts tied into the eps, because the one we got recently was showing her day with Sally Mae, and with how you mentioned that millies emotional state is more stable compared to blitz at the time and she'd be able to resist the possession ^^

Finally we are going to see this kind of demons, that got teased a while back when I remember and seem like going to posses Blitzo and Millie? I do miss the wonky adventures of IMP on earth. I like the focus on the depths of the main characters relationships, but it's been I while since we have seen our favorite demons killing human kind 😈
I don’t think it’s a random demon from envy but actually a hired assassin to do psychological damage to IMP. The demon hires them as a lure to get them into his trap on earth, and then proceeds to attack them using his possession powers as wll as other magic.
Perhaps a sinner has the ability to leave Hell temporarily if he is strong and has knowledge of magic. Perhaps he is the owner of a sinful inn and can only exist on Halloween.

Yes. That scene is most likely a hallucination that happens in Ghostf**kers since the floor has the same pattern in the hotel.
Some Think That This Demon Will Appear in the Ghostfuckers Episode The Infernal Prince of Envy Leviathan is gone, but it's probably not because, being one of the 10 Most Powerful Beings in All of Hell, I don't see any reason for him to be in the Human World Working
The scene showing Blitzø and his mum is almost most likely hallucination since the floor pattern is the same as the hotel floor we see in other clips.
If it’s true that this guy is Leviathan, the Deadly Sin of Envy, that would make sense.
After all, Envy happens when a person lacks another's quality, skill, achievement, or possession and wishes that the other lacked it.
So of course Leviathan would be able to pass on as someone else (whether through shapeshifting or possession, or sabotaging others) to compensate for their own shortcomings and insecurities.

I am curious about Loona's origin story though. She hasn't had much of a focus yet and we have yet to dive into her lore and her past.
I’m really excited for this episode and it definitely looks like Blitzo gets possessed, but it is cool that this demon can both shapeshift and possess others.😳 (I still like the thought that the deep sea demon is Leviathan 😉).
I also think the shot of Millie with the broken glass over her eye is while she’s either possessed or is the demon himself.🤔
If you look closely, you can see he got new scars on his legs. Between the episode full moon and ghostf.
It would explain half the fights that happened between Blitzø and Millie. Or maybe Blitzø let something happen to Moxie and Millie is pissed. I mean take season 1 episode 6 and season 2 episode 3 for examples, Blitzø be lucky to be alive.
Maybe that explained the Blitz vs Millie fight...he might got possessed

Is it really possible for a ghost to possess a demon?
I doubt Blitz is possessed but simply Leviathan using shapeshifting much like Envy in FMA.
I think that demons and spirits might be separate entities in helluva, since the ghost seems like a demon from envy but it also acts slightly like alastor and slightly like stolas in the episode with dork, when the ghost was in the hallway, although the the term demon and spirit are used interchangeably in the lesser key of Solomon the ars goetia are referred to as the 72 SPIRITS so the ghost may be a “lesser spirit” with similar but weaker powers, and something that kind of supports it is that the goetia tend to have glowing eyes that remain mostly a solid colour and as for why stolas didn’t mention they it could be that spirits like the hotel owner go up there illegally and that’s why he’s attacking I.m.p instead of just telling them that they are interfering with a mission given to him by a sin or goetia.
the episode storyboard was already leaked about the ghost. There will also be an Octavia song in this season.
I think Blitz falling on the floor isn't him crying but rather the moment he is getting posessed.
I agree, especially with how his eyes aren't shown therefore we can't tell if he's crying. But it could very well be both, assuming this ghost/possessor is feeding off of his emotional instability. I think Blitzo is talking to Millie, ghost makes him hallucinate making Millie look like his mother to him (because 5:02 seems more like a hallucination than a memory, the carpet is the same as the motel room and we know Blitzo's family lived in a tent), during and after the hallucination Blitz is obviously very stressed (confusing Millie who probably has no clue what's going on) and when he gets up again, he's possessed. Possibly the actual Blitzo is in his own head watching his worst moments, as we see in the theater looking scene? That part is a stretch but I think the other stuff is likely.
Maybe, but that also might be after him hallucinating the scene when he was with his mum crying.

I'm thinking he can either possess people or shapeshift. Both would make sense in my opinion

I assume that the shot of Blitzø crying in that episode comes after the fight, but in that shot, Millie has both her eyes.
Also, in the shot where she's injured, she's wearing her normal clothes which she is not wearing in that episode.
It’s most likely that the scene with her injured is almost likely a hallucination that Blitzø is seeing since it’s a very major injury, we see clips of Millie being totally fine in episodes later on and Blitzø is probably worried he will harm his coworkers too now.
The scene where he’s crying to his mum is almost most likely a hallucination because the floor is the same pattern as the hotel’s floor.
Moxxie is probably afraid of ghosts tbh

Theory: In the trailer for the new episodes of season 2, at the end before credits, Blitzo says "I don't want to be this way, not anymore". I think that either at the end of apology tour, fighting the C.H.E.R.U.B.S, or even at the end of the season...Blitzo could be thinking of redemption after all the pain he's caused (according to him) and this could possibly lead to both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss colliding together or Blitzo finally working on himself. Just a theory though (lmk what u think)

from the leaks we can tell that this hotel owner guy (Rolando) isnt a posessor, or even a hellborn demon, but infact a sinner, he regenerated after his head got blown up by blitz, something that would kill a hellborn right away

For some reason no one talks about envy demons powers I have a feeling no royal like stoles brought it up cuz demons from evny don't really leave there comminuty which is like rich rich people who look down on the other rings. So my feeling is this has to be either leviathan, his worship or a sinner who escaped limbo cuz that's not normal for them to be on earth doing that.
