I don't want to be terrible, mate, but when you run in those wellies, you remind me of the opening scene in Sound of Music, where Julie Andrews was tromping across the flowers.
Except you're better looking. 😁
Thanks for the videos, I really like watching your adventures.
Hi David, thanks for the video, introduction and explanation of your Shooting set-up. It certainly works and the sound seems just right.

Maybe slugs are a marketing plug to suck you in... you never had trouble with pellets. Love my Hades, nice soft lead, fly straight and expand nicely even on a poor old 18fpe air rifle.
After testing the Zan 177 10gr slugs, I can confirm they are very good. The ones retrieved from rabbits heads are well mushroomed and no pass through at about 40 yards. Taken many pigeons with them too. Using a little HW99s and they're leaving the barrel at just under 700fps. Accuracy is on par with the top pellets too.
Brilliant, David 👍
Am running 27grn 217 h&n at about 960 and they shoot really well at 50yrds
Excelente disparos y muy buen control de plagas y el FX crown espectacular rifle 👌👌👊👊👏👏👍👍🧉🇦🇷 saludos 👍
Another excellent video David, well done.
Geoff.
another excellent video David 👌
David- give the JTS semi round nosed (flat nosed) pellets a try. You can thank me later. YT won't allow me to say anything more about them, but they hit hard!
Excellent video as usual “David”. We were talking Saturday about the hide colour. Have a look 7 minutes in. What do you think??
Good video David
Very Nice
Thanks to you for being my childhood to present CZcams favourite air rifle shooting channel
Nice one David.
ООООООо манок на ворону работает !!!! Попробуем тоже
Great content
Excellent ..
Nice shooting sir, I use the 25g H&Ns in my impact x with a 700 superior liner but have found the 218s better for me.
I stopped ages ago searching for speed and found its sweet around 940 and still do 3 mega mags on a fill.
Are you using the new design hollow point 25s because they dont half pop on a magpie.
Keep up the good work and thanks.
Ran a bushnell elite on my hw100 many years ago really liked the scope
Ive been playing about with different pellets and slugs and tunes on my fx maverick
I use slugs and pellets
Nice to be able to turn it down for inside jobs and whack it up for slugs
Ive tried fx zan jsb slugs but the h&n 21gr seem to be the winner
Those slugs work well
👊🏻💥👊🏻💥👊🏻💥👊🏻
Every one suggests 34 grain slugs on fx superior liners.
I just got a Magpie today, my hide is the living room, the patio door open and the garden is in full view, not as professional as you though sorry lol
lead is too hard
hi. I've been watching your videos for a while, because I'm also passionate about pest control. it can be seen that you are passionate about what you do. I have always considered the magpie as a pest. but recently I saw two events that changed my perspective. the first was when a group of 5-6 magpies and some jays joined together to chase away an hawk which had descended on the top of a tree. I want to say that the hawk killed at least 10 of my chickens ..... then, two weeks ago one afternoon, a fox came in and killed many of my chickens again. this time there were 10-15 magpies attacking the fox and trying to chase it away making a lot of noise. after that I stopped considering them as pest. on the contrary, I give them food and try to keep them around the household. good luck in what you do, I'm not following you anymore.
Obviously no sheep or lambs in your area. Magpies and hooded crows are a real threat to both hygiene of cattle fodder and the physical safety of lambs. Each to his own. Methinks you are simply a troll.
@@GiovanniMPM14 there are also sheep and there are also lambs. I have never heard or seen it create problems like this. but the same bird can be a problem in one place, and be beneficial in another. I said my point of view without offending anyone. and what you think about me, if I'm a troll or not, I don't care.
@@stefananegroaeipoint taken. If I accept your point surely you can accept that these birds must be controlled in certain areas?
@@GiovanniMPM14 I don't know what the situation is in other places. so I can't accept what I don't know. I expressed my opinion and argued why I will no longer watch these videos. I'm not saying that what he does is good or bad. I actually don't watch his videos anymore.
@@stefananegroaei fair enough.
