    This video is about Peter coppola keratin smoothing treatment on Highlighted hair
    STEPS:
    SHAMPOO: Shampoo the hair thoroughly once with the Peter Coppola Keratin Clarifying Shampoo.If the client's hair is heavily saturated with styling products, it is advised to shampoo first with one of our retail shampoos and then follow it with a clarifying shampoo.
    TOWEL DRY: Towel-dry the hair well until there is no excess water (approx. 70% dry)Squeeze the hair with a towel and do not rub the hair in an abrasive fashion, try to avoid any unnecessary damage to the hair.
    APPLY (Part 1): Make sure your tools are laid out properly and are easy to access.Shake the Peter Coppola Keratin Treatment bottle well and pour 2 ounces of product into the tint bowl.
    APPLY (Part 2): Section the hair into 4 sections. Front hairline to the nape of the neck. Apex of the head to just behind the ear on each side of the head.
    APPLY (Part 3): After the hair is in "touch up" sections, starting in the back right section, pull down 1" of hair and begin applying the product just off the scalp through the ends of the hair. Use a fine tooth tail comb to comb the product into each section.
    PROCESS: After the product has been applied, process the client's hair according to the condition. As little as 20 minutes for hair that is damaged (bleached, double processed, heavily highlighted, or previously relaxed hair). Up to 50 minutes for hair that is virgin, very coarse, very thick, or has a very heavy curl pattern. Comb the hair smooth every five minutes of processing with your fine toothed comb.
    RINSE: Rinse the hair thoroughly with warm water until the water runs clean from the hair (approx. 3 min.)
    BLOW DRY: Blow dry the hair 100% into desired shape with a round, vent or paddle brush
    PRO TIP: If the client has heavy curl pattern, use a round brush to increase tension on the hair - this will ensure a smooth result
    FLAT IRON: Section the hair appropriately for the flat iron portion of the procedure. The 4 sections "touch up" partings are a good starting point. If the client has a great deal more hair, then section according to the density. When flat ironing the client's hair take a 1/8 inch section starting at the nape and pass smoothly from the roots to the ends of the hair between 3 and 8 passes or until the hair is smooth and fizz free.
    POSTCARE: After you have completed the ironing process, the treatment is complete. If there are any residual "fly aways," feel free to apply a couple drops of our Argan Oil Polish or high definition gloss to the hair to smooth and condition the ends.

    Wow it’s so shiny and straight and I bet you did those amazing highlights too! I was wondering if keratin Treatment stop hair breakage and therefore helps the hair grow longer? Especially for dry damaged coloured hair?

      Based on Utilize the Peter Coppola Curl Key as your timing guide to determine processing, between 20-50 minutes. I think I left hers on for about 30 minutes. 😘

    What does the hair look like after washing it at home? Is it completely straight? Or some curl left, just without frizz?

    • @EuqinaD
      @EuqinaD  Před 5 lety +1

      Great question. No, It's not Completely straight. Her curls are looser, frizz free and more defined. 😉😘

    Hello. My hair is not so soft and straight but I can't call it frizzy neither. It's straight up to my neck and then finds curls and curves. If I do creatine treatment, will it become straight for few moth? Or the curls will remain? Thank you.

    • @EuqinaD
      @EuqinaD  Před 5 lety

      Hey! It will get wavy when its wet. The curls won't be as tight, it will be smoother, easier to manage, stay straight and frizz free longer! 😉😘

      I'm a veteran Hairstylist of 28 years, and I have been using this product for 10 years. Yes, you can use this on colored or bleached hair, because this is not a chemical, you're only adding more keratin to your hair, which is what hair is made of in the first place.
