Max Mitchell has kind of disappeared as well ... not necessarily a bad thing ... he could be just quietly grinding, putting in the work ... just thought it's interesting we haven't heard his name at all after all the hype year 1
I'm concerned about his health but then there was also the talk about converting him to guard. There's so many players above him from a fame standpoint that I'm glad he's I'm the background working.
Not a great sign. Could be one of those who benefits from the mentorship of Smith & Moses. Could be backing up RG Vera Tucker. Swing Tackle 2025 ?

Lazard has showed up, is working with new WR Coach Shawn Jefferson. Carter Warren is your backup RT, evolving.
Agreed on CW - I would like to see Lazard switch to TE maybe . I don’t see him as wr3 that room is super crowded (Garrett, Williams, Corely, Gibson, Charles etc)
He still has a way to go to return to form. If he's struggling against our 2nd and 3rd units it's not a good sign. Warren will get the same opportunity as Olu to develop without pressure.
@@Jairogliphx Idk if Lazard has the strength to hold up at TE. At this point having him switch positions would hurt more than help. Playing as WR is ideal.
Lots of good players don't get drafted and make a name as an UDFA. No one could replace Mawea or Mangold. Carter Warren should improve this season.
Training camp will be very interesting to see who keeps up
Corley not signed, Gipson has flashed and has shown growth WR, favorite for the slot
Surprisingly development but I'm rooting for him.

The Jets should do Carter Warren a favor and release him. The guy is not a RT and forcing him to play that position is a disservice. Some people are ambidextrous but most people are one side dominant and asking someone left handed to play right handed and expecting consistent results is asinine.
Keep in mind he’s a fourth rd pick for a reason they still want to develop him. If he can backup Olu at least then we good.
I didn't love the initial move either but they must be seeing something otherwise they'd have given Max Mitchell the shot again.

Can't call it but it sounds like he's been more on the outside and occasionally covers from the slot.

@@DKBxJets Gut feeling based on not hearing much about him, the way you do when the team has uncovered a blue-chipper, and instead hearing about what a good receiver Braelon Allen is, or how Eric Watts is a diamond in the rough.
Also, I've been a Jets fan since1964. So I know how it works.
