Ganyan ginagamit namin dito sa Canada. Very stable very cost saving. Mga Gym wall na tinatayo namin sa mga schools ganyan ang gamit, yung wall is 11 meter high using 12" blocks. Combination of Bond beam blocks Sound blocks or acoustic blocks. Sa loob naman ng building mga partition walls gamit namin 8"inches blocks. Tapos wala nang palitada wala nang parging. Jointer tooling nlng kailangan. Tsaka isang advantage is yung mga rebars. Every 400 to 600mm spacing sa halloblocks may rebars and then dugtung nlng habang nataas sya. Earthquake proof..

T-Joist slab system is one of our studies/thesis and is really good and time saving especially on formworks but we didnt focus on the effects of the earthquake on the structure wich uses this precast materials. I want to know if it is earthquake resistant.

These jackbuilt would be good only for bungalow type house, you can not replace standard beam for these load bearing block if you are going to build multiple storey building.

hello. quick question. if those are load-bearing blocks and can replace posts means you would only have wall footing as reinforcement along the perimeter of, say, a house. would there be a variation in terms of the depth of the wall footing and would there be any other reinforcement needed just in case? looking forward to your response. thanks.

Is it earthquake resistant? Load bearing blocks are used in old times but in modern day they do not use it anymore because they are not earthquake resistant.

    • @marlinbundo2409

Old style URM buildings are very weak to lateral loads caused by earthquakes, but when properly reinforced with concrete and rebar the walls become much stronger. Built to code, modern masonry can be very resilient against earthquakes.

Sir earthquake proof po yan. Gawa ng, every 400mm may rebars and every 8 course or patong may bond beam. Start sa baba bond beam agad dalawang patong. Ganyan ginagamit dito sa canada at sa US .

how about heat transfer? Kasi di ba pag puro semento ang materials, ina-absorb niya yung heat sa araw then ilalabas niya ang init sa loob ng bahay kapag gabi. Anong solution nyo sa ganitong issue?
