It be cool to see comic book characters done in famous artists like Van Gogh or Monet.
YESSSSS
Love this idea!
Great idea
Dope idea there
That would be freaking awesome!
I love that Alysha called the cutie mark a tramp stamp đ
If the horseshoe fits...
I can't with y'all. đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
I mean thats what it is
Honestly I think Insert Art is the perfect name for the channel
Same i like it lol
Me too
They should use Gareth's intro idea hahaha "Let's Insert" XD
Same lol
@@ElsaLouiseSinger đ
Joker not having a Cutie Mark could make sense. Like he is so chaotic hat he wouldn't find his purpose.
Neither of them made their pony characters male đ , they generally have squarer jawlines which I think would fit well with their designs. But they all look amazing still!
@đđđ„đđ đ«đđŠ đŠđđINSERTART get a real jobb and stop scamming people.
I know. But we have to keep in mind, they are not fans of the show. They didn't watch it. They just grabbed random art, and most pictures will feature mares instead of stallions. They probably think all the ponies have the same basic body.
Donât tell the Joker heâs a girl!!! đ
@@SamuraiEchidna you can tell they never saw it too cause she used an image as reference where the mane 6 were wearing their elements of harmony and she was like 'they all seem to be wearing necklaces so i gave him a neck accessory' lol
I think Joker's 'cutie mark' would be a trick flower - it was a signature costume piece of the Nicholson Joker, as well as Mark Hamill's in the 1992 animated series.
Alysha could've cheated with Rainbow Dash and used her Equestria Girls design, but she went the extra mile and drew a horse in the Atlantis style - bravo đ
I forgot about that.
Yeah I was thinking it would be neat to see the human version of Rainbow Dash in the Atlantis style!
That DC Jack looks so much like the older DC comics. I like it a lot.
I think he looks like the Scarecrow from his first Batman: The Animated Series appearance. That really bony, emaciated abnormally tall look that he had. Not the later ones where he is broader of shoulder and more fleshy (only word I could think of). I still like it a lot.
The "Tim Burton Beast" that Alysha draws actually looks stylistically similar to the Hyde in Wednesday and since that's also directed by Tim Burton, I guess she actually nailedđđ
He also reminded me a lot of the Wolfman, who is an actual background character in the Nightmare before Christmas. So yeah, she definitely nailed it
Itâs always such a treat watching someone new to YT slowly become more comfortable and natural in front of the camera. I love watching Aliciaâs growth.
I say she was a natural presenter, but sheâs getting more comfortable with each video
@@Narra0002 I agree.
I literally cheered when Alysha added the cutie mark. Absolutely perfect!
Love how Alysha drew Homer in the style of a female pony; really adds to how cursed it is.
I love it how casual this video felt! It was like the 3 of us sat down for some art, awesome job guys!!
YESSS
Itâs so nice
The whole 41K of us
Yeah, their rapport with each other is getting much more natural and comfortable. It's great to see.
The Joker Pony's Cutie mark could have been HaHaHa in its cartoon comic font.
I was thinking a Joker playing card, but that would work, too.
I thought the cartoon gun with the bang coming out would be a cool mark
Just a smiley face would work. Or a smiley with the red smiling makeup Joker wears.
These character swaps turned out great! Your skill levels are so close to each other! Now I want a Poké-Jack plushie as well!
Same
That was my immediate thought after seeing that!
I need it in my life.
That Skellington as a super hero was awesome. The pin stripe really made it pop.
Jazza finally catching up to Alysha's colouring prowess đđđ
I didn't know that I needed to see Jack Skellington as a PokĂ©mon, but I did and he's just too precious. I want him as a stuffed toy, too đ Sooo adorable, well done đ
I think the Tim Burton style Beast could have taken more inspiration from Wolfman, an actual character in Nightmare Before Christmas.
My thoughts exactly
It feels like you're both getting more comfortable with the concept and I like the more down to earth vibe.
It's so fun to watch Alisha's speed draws! I'd love to see her get some different prompts that take her out of her comfort zone like using weird brushes and colors :)
Cursed mashups where everyone gets the same set of mashup prompts and you come back and show them off to each other!!! I'd love to see how different minds take it and maybe not necessarily specific characters but you could pick ANY pony or any pokemon or any of the Simpsons characters... ya know?
Also, Jack totally has DC Supervillain vibes now.
Jazza you should hire on someone who works with textiles! Like a plush artist, so you can have actual plushes of all these things. ALso! There's a 3d modeling thing where you input a 3d model and it gives you a plush pattern, so you could use that for some fun challenge-type things!
I loved Rainbow Dash in Atlantis, it was really nice!
I both MLP ponies where good tries, it just shows how complicated "simple" cartoon art can be hehe!
A lot of them reminds me of like rough pitch sketches for the shows and they fit in soo good :D
DC Jack looked amazing. All of them looked really great, but the Jack just killed it. Great job.
Gosh golly I like this channel
I think you both did amazing work! Honestly, I was blown away by all of these! But I canât help but wonder how Jack would have looked as a Dr. Seuss character đ Alicia, can you do it anyway? Iâd love to see that! đ
Honestly I really wanted jack skellington in the style of dr. Seuss
same, I got so annoyed that they changed it
As an MLP FIM artist, Iâm quite proud of what Alysha did!đ She nailed it when draws Rainbow Dash in style of Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Good job for both artists!đđ»
Well, did you realize they did joker and Homer as a female poniesđ
@human_m5680 I do, in fact! They didn't realise that female and male pony have different body model. I guess they didn't research deeply enough but at least they triedđ
I love this format. Reminds me of Drawfee. But with more focus on the art and less nonsense talk.
The nonsense on Drawfee is the best part tho
@@FOXCHASE It really depends on what one prefers. It's nice to have more Drawfree like stuff since it would be dependent on the people too. Like imagine a Drawfree or InsertArt but with anime fans, cartoon lovers, comic artists, dnd people, etc etc.
Less nonsense! More art!
This should be every art channels mantra.
I thought for sure the Joker's cutie mark would have been the joke flower both of the references were wearing.
Or the jokers smile
We need a lot more of this. This is so cool. I think you both should do the same characters but in your own styles. She's such a great artist and additional to the Jazza team. Great work guys
Oh yeah, Spider Man! He's my favorite DC character lol
Jack Skellington was SO COOL!! Makes me wanna try this challenge. More of these please đ„°
Really cool designs! Atlantis-Homer and DC-Jack were my favorites đ. The 4x artist format would bring great variety. I feel like improv classes could help the Insert Art crew loosen up on camera and bring some of the Drawfee-goofs energy. It also sounds like a fun activity for the crew to do together!
She could have made rainbow dash a human like the reboot that has them as humanoids, but I guess she stuck to the original character design more.
I love these match up. You should should make 4 wheels or for list from the app. One for character, style, item, and background. Would love to see what is created.
Sounds interesting
may i suggest spinning separate wheels for character and style, so you can have more options and less likely repeats
You both did so well. My favorite one Alysha drew is Jack as a Marvel character. It fit so well and I love the blue highlight, it kinda makes the piece. Iâm excited to see this with more people too
She drew him as a DC Character not Marvel, but for some reason she had Spiderman as a reference image.
Hoo boy the audio in this video is a little scuffed. Especially during the drawing parts.
if you did a group one with 3-4+ people. would i tbe more fun to all have the same prompts ? so you can compare and see how you vary in your ideas? or is that too boring then. hmmm.
either way, i want to see it :3
I wonder what Jack Skellingtonâs power as a DC character would be? Reanimating corpses?
Amazing work btw!
There is the Black Lanterns, who have the power of death, so he could be one of them!
I could so zone in and binge watch you guys do these style swaps! Must Do More!!
love that u used the fish fins as inspo for the wings! that's awesome!
Once you guys have more people it would be so fun to have everyone do the same prompt of style swap and see just how different people interpret it.
Wow! You are amazing! I would love to have a sculpture of Jack Skellington looking like your drawing! It would be Awesome!!! Your work is incredible and I think Jazz picked the right person to work with. What fun this was!
Some amazing stuff here. One comment, I'm surprised the Atlantean Pony wasn't a Seahorse.
I really love this series of videos, with the random character style swaps. Really fun and entertaining, please do more of these!! :)
you should for sure do this again! maybe get a group of people, have them spin or draw out of a hat but everyone guesses what character and style combination everyone else got by looking at their crreation in a scene sort of how jazza placed all his characters in the scene of the style he was drawing the characters in :)
I would love to see this again. It is fun to see how two different artists do this. It is my favorite. I love the whole characters in different art styles. You guys are great artists.
Ok the jack skeleton in DC style Is the most BADASS thing I have ever witnessed and I want more
I'd really like to see you two just spin the wheel and doing the same character in the same style, and then compare your results
It's strange that this channel didn't have a name besides [INSERT ART] and that is the perfect name.
I love how many conversations about drawing starts "I show you mine, you show me yours"
"Insert out!" would be an excellent outro!
Ooh, I think it'd be great if you put your characters side by side, like I'd love to see the Atlantis Homer and rainbow dash side by side đ
omg i looooove the jack skellington
Fun fact:
Like in all animals with (hind) legs, horses knees bend forward.
What we interpret as their backwards-bending knee is in fact the heel of the foot. The knee is much further up.
Same with birds, btw.
Can we just take a moment and notice that Spider-Man was included in the DC comic references. đ
These all turned out so well!
The results turned out so amazing! Very excited to see more challenges!
I lkie the contrast of style by this two...one is simplistic and minimal and one is detailed..but both are great art..
Man, i sure love the part of insert art where fans are collaborating too
Alyshaâs Jack has a Scarecrow mixed with Joker feel, and Scarecrow being my favourite villain I need this comic rendition.
Just started watching the channel. Fantastic work. The Beast a la Burton immediately fit for me like Krampus.
man, i bloody love this series, keep it going between you two
Oh my god! For Rainbow Dash, my mind imediatelly went to âoh damn⊠how can I turn these few details into a human character?â
I actually didnât even THINK of making Rainbow Dash a fricken HORSE in Atlantis-style anymore, even though that seems like a straight forward approachâŠ
Now I feel really silly X-D
First Jazza was 4/4 now Alysha is 4/4!! Brava you two! BRAVA đ
Jazzaâs pikachu in dr Seuss style has gotta be my favourite
Adding more artists. âI think youâre gonna. Need a bigger wheel.â
I would like to see another segment of this, its very interesting
Jack Skellington is definitely a villain in DC comics. Turned out incredibly well. Stylistically gives me Scarecrow vibes!
Oh man, your rainbow dash could have been a sea horse type character in Atlantis...but still very cool!
I LOVE that DC Jack Skellington! Makes me really want try out my new Jazza brushes again!
Jack Skellington is style of pokemon was the cutest "skeleton-like" creatures I've ever seen.
The style mashups on both channels were amazing. I did notice that one of her super-hero references was not a DC character, but a Marvel character, Spiderman.
I think it was just for the pose
Your wheel needs tweaking.
You kept spinning with the same amount of force and it kept doing roughly 1 full rotation so it always ended up close to where it started.
I love these mashups. I would like to see you both do the same combos, and see how differently you each interpret them.
It would be fun if you could make some challenge for the viewers with a hashtag so you and Alisha could make a video reacting to the fans' art (not that I could do something because I'm so rusty AND I'm broke and don't have a software to run that kind of project).
What if you guys got 4 artists together, spinned the wheel and let everybody show off their version of the prompt?
LOVE the beast in a Santa hat lol
You can tell that Jazza is better at selling his art. :P
He've put every character in the scene (for Pikachu he even chose a page with quote that fits just perfect), which makes all the characters that much more believeable.
Alysha made a great work (Ranbow Dash and Jack Skellington are remarkable), but didn't sell it as well.
If I didnt know that was Adam (the Beast), k could easily imagine him as Henry Selick and Tim Burton's version of Krampus.
would be fun to see both try the same combo, and then compare what choices you made to get there and see what both did same and where you did something completely different =D
i agree!
Iâm so jealous you guys can draw like that. You guys are both so good!
This is really nice.Thank you for sharingđ
Jack Skellington in DC style was the #1 for this video!
DC Skellington has an excellent Scarecrow vibe.
Love the kinda unscripted new intro everytime. It gives the fact that its a new channel just figuring things out
Horses are the most difficult thing to draw and Alicia nails it without a reference which is awesome.
The lead character designer on Disney's Atlantis was comics artist Mike Mignola, if that helps for future Atlantis Lost Empire content.
When I saw that Alysha was doing the beast in the style of Nightmare Before Christmas, the first thing I thought of was Oogie Boogie because of his shape.
I loved this video. But the Unova Region being used for Jack Skellington was the cherry on top!
You should open with "Outsert Art In" so you can end with "Insert Art Out". Reminds me of "Unus Annus"
I think they should both spin the wheel and do the same combinations so we can see their different views and ideas on how to do the same characters
Alicia does the "style swap challenge" and Jazza does "Insert the joker into my little pony" and so on.
Insert ... into ... challenge. This is how it should be done from here on out. Especially on the [INSERT ART] channel.
Art mashups are so fun to watch!
"I think I should just quit now while I'm ahead"
*Jazza goes silent*
I love how chill this channel is. Also can I just say Alysha has such a comforting and soft vibe to her
Best intro of the year
Wow Alisha!! Itâs always so perfect itâs very hard to pick a favorite, but if someone forces me to pick one i would choose Jacks the Skeleton, heâs very awesome!!
such a fun down to earth series, I hope you guys keep this tone for the rest of your videos on this channel
