I think the only thing I don't like about smash videos is that you can pretty much tell who wins by how much more time is left.

It's a really good showing of how good m2k is. Mid series he realized that he should stop spot dodging and just never did it for the rest of the game. Plup then started getting some throws but kept trying to catch m2k dodging and as a result lost a ton of offensive opp. M2k adjusted. Plup didn't.

Katalowins Wes used it back in the day, and actually used it as part of his game not just in between stocks flexing like Plup here.
Even though Plup has switched to focusing a lot on Shiek, his Samus is no slouch!

+Stuart Smith it refers to the strong attacks that you do by tilting the control stick not quite enough for a smash attack.

First off, screw you guys in the comments always spoiling the ending before I even get invested in the video. (Yes I know it's my fault. I need to stop reading comments at the beginning.)
But second, the thing I love and respect about M2K is that it doesn't get in his head when he's down. He's never afraid to lose stocks. His end game is picking up on the strategies of his opponents, and when he does, he capitalizes. It's beautiful to watch. Sure I always root for the underdog, but damn do I respect how M2K plays.
If you already know it's your fault, why mention it? And then you precede to give more spoilers. LMAO
But I do agree with your points about M2K. That's what separates the top 5 from everybody else. Being a top level player is so much more than just being good at the game. You have to master your own mind as well. Plup's body language shows what truly happened.

M2k pretty often just gives up when down 3 stocks. so.

It wasn't just that, though. He got tournament jitters really hard in Grand Finals, and it showed. I actually think it was the smartest thing to go for the Puff ditto because that's just what he has to do to play optimally: Not take the game seriously.
Still, being there live, I was literally on the floor laughing when I saw Grand Finals Game 3. It was actually a joke.
Ive seen M2K give up quite a few times. And you already mentioned its your fault by reading the comments beforehand. WE GOT A NOOB HERE.

So you think everyone above the age of 10 is going to like this playstyle? There are way more people playing smash casually! The competetive smash scene isn´t everybody. smash 4 is actually fine imo, could be a bit faster and the removal of infinite air dodging would be great though
Anyone can enjoy melee, some just choose to hate it instead, purely based on what people they will never meet are doing hundreds of miles away.
Whenever I sit down and read what these people write, it's often completely psychotic.

They are slow in here? Like on my leven right now, what's going on? Weren't they advanced yet or were they going for a different strategy? I dont see as much wave dashes and such, interesting
well logically I guess cos I play with samus and sheik too now (floaty and speed) and I noticed their combos and tactics cant reach as much as with fox for example, but they are more effective in my opinion

DarkLava2007 It's very hard to read his lips. As someone who does every day, I thought I could try to figure it out. I could only pick out a few words like at the beginning "a little trick for FD…" and the end, where he said “it’s very bad because once you get to battlefield, he’ll keep doing it.” I realize out of context this means nothing, but maybe someone who's better at lip reading than I am could use this to figure the rest out.
My guesses in some places is at the beginning he might be talking about rushing something, and a little later talking about a throw and side b working 30% of the time. Maybe he's talking about predicting habits and how to counter them?

+Chrisby 101 (Rocket Chris) Let out a bomb with Samus. The very last frame before you hit the ground in your ball, flick the control stick in the opposite direction that you want to go. The VERY NEXT frame (This is why it's not easy to do), you have to flick the control stick in the other direction. The quickest back-and-forth movement of the control stick that the game will register. It's a 2-frame input, and if you'll notice, Plup did it 4 times in just this set. What a guy.
Damn that first game was so intense.

I'm not good and kinda new to this game, just to john at my comment...but seriously at 1:30 I had to watch again the scene cause that shot was invisible for me didn't even saw the animation XD. This game sometimes is so quick I can't even understand what's happening. Oh yeah and also grammar nazy I know I know.

Except for Leffen who seems to only play fox (but I've heard good things about some of his other characters) and HBox who plays only jiggly.
