Hi! Does anyone know the procedure for shutting down when not using in summer. Info is nowhere to be found in book instruction or online forums?

There is no need for a leak detection alarm in the hydronic system. That obnoxious vibration pump will definitely draw your attention when it runs.

Demineralization in just water mixed w antifreeze or all water ? I never see anyone demineralize boiler water in MA
