The only thing I remember from this movie wasn't even the movie itself, it was the fact that me and my Dad were the only people in the theater. Like I don't even remember the antagonist, which is really sad. Especially since I remember someone like Malekith.
I had a 12 inch Ryan Reynolds green lantern figurine with a light up hand that sat on my shelf and reminded me that I spent money on that movie, that and my dad has it on Blu-ray and watches it religiously
I legit only remember the part of Ryan Reynolds saying the Green Lantern oath, making it sound cool

It was so nice to listen to Kevin Michael Richardson as Kilowog. It reminds me of that fact that the only good thing the movie produced was the animated show that tied into it, Green Lantern: The Animated Series.
It didn't tie in exactly. It just was inspired by it, slightly.

They have a fun but repetitive shake down of business to earn some money for the Corleones it really makes u feel like a low level soldier also the movie is great but nothing beats the book u should watch it when u get the chance it's like 50yrs old lol

@@MindPulp It looked like the upgrade screen provided tons of options. Maybe not though. We could use a new Green Lantern game. VR would suit it perfectly! I'd play the shit out of it as long as it wasn't an Iron Man clone. Also the "On Track" sections you both despise, as well as myself, are colloquially known as "on rails" fyi. :) Love your videos!
I had it on the DS, and it was absolute torture. The game was basically unplayable after a certain point.
7:21 I have fond memories of the Matrix. It was the first game to make me realize, at just 7 years old, not every movie should have a game adaptation, cause most of the time, they suck

I actually kinda liked this game. It was a nice little God of War clone that you can just mindlessly enjoy when you got nothing else to do.

I remember playing it and trying to rob a bank in it but only having a bomb on me not just a stick of dynamite to open the vault yeah it didn't work just blew up me and the building so had to wait until the bank was reset to rob it

I think you can play as Sinestro as the second player in this game
When I played this game I actually preferred it to god of war because while god of war had a lot of button mashing, Green Lantern's button assignments made it way easier to use varying constructs and attacks. With God of War 2 I mostly stuck to the chains because the hammer mostly sucked and the other weapons weren't worth it, but with Green Lantern I was like "Buzzsaw to caltrops to gatlinggun to sword" and it was way more interesting visually.

god, this plays like a video game to a sequel to green lantern, or a video game that uses the stuff the film was going to use but couldn't for various reasons
Even if the game is bad, it did get pretty creative with attacks

The reason no one remembers the movie is because Ryan Reynolds was shot before even filming.

Don’t make fun of green lantern as a character if you look up his backstory and all the lanterns lore you’ll understand how cool it is the blue guys in giant capes are the guardians of the rings who train people across the universe after a ring chooses them.

I remember when Angry Joe reviewed this game on his channel, surprised to see you enjoyed it quite a bit more than i was expecting.
Also damn are Green Lantern lore names and shit very dumb...if i make something as silly sounding as that then just end me
Even though I have never played this game and just recently heard about it, i will say that the game play mechanics honestly don't seem as bad as I imagined and would likely resemble the mechanics you would apply to a Green Lantern game, however I will say that the rest is very lacklustre and the character resolution is also quite hard to look at, although I do appreciate the use of the Green Lantern mytho's for the plot, but I do wish it could've beeen more nuanced andd nore complex as the source material.
BTW I do have to admit that some Green Lantern names are a little silly at times but still quite fun, I mean, there is literally a squirrel that is a member of the Green Lantern Corps and his name is Ch'p which is both ridiculous and hilarious at the same time but in good way. Not to mention that the Green Lantern comics by Geoff Johns are some of DC comics' best stories, practically the entire comic run felt like a saga of films leading up to a number of huge events (Green Lantern is quite literally DC's Star Wars). I would kindly recommend checking them out if you are ever interested?
Aside from the fact that you can't really fly and there's no camera, this game wasn't bad.
I thought the movie was okay; not as bad as people make it out to be...but yeah, it should have been way better. Too much CGI and lackluster CGI at that, is what I think killed any chance of it being more than it could have been. The suits just look horrible (ironically except for Sinestro's ending credit Yellow suit! That was awesome!) and the rest of the CGI effects are even worse. Too distracting. Anyways, I actually had this game and got 100% on the Trophies (it was my first 100% completion!); that's my best memory of it. It's not a bad game...it's just very repetitive. It's better with a 2nd player too. At most, you can joke around and talk shit about it while you play then. It's one of those games that aren't that expensive either, $20 or less most of the time, so it's worth owning in that regard. I'd give it a 5 or 6 out of 10!

Path of neo is actually a good game imo, if you want a matrix game to make fun of you gotta play "enter the matrix" for PS2 it's hilariously bad with live action cut scenes
