Sadly, unlike before, this hero is little known for his contributions. Most young people reference the loss of Chester from Lincoln Park and have little knowledge of the vastly more impactful, and deeply inspirational Chris Cornell. I wish I would have met him before his passing.

"It's all been done." You sing about your pain enough, write it all down, show everyone, eventually you're going to have a coincidence when you end your life. Like AiC or Blind Melon... there's lots more examples. Don't let coincidence creep you out.

I was only 10 when I first heard Superunknown. My friends and I listened to the CD in the basement, where we also played Super Metroid on the SNES. What a haunting and cool album cover, and what a haunting and cool music video for Black Hole Sun. I have never cared for the Metroid games, but after 22 years, I still think Soundgarden rocks. RIP, Chris Cornell.
Nice, I was about 12. It was this cassette tape, Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Dream, Nirvana, Weezer Blue, etc. The best days of my life. Still love all these bands.

Great emotional and reflective sounding performance. Chris Cornell was one of Grunge's greatest vocalist and deserves respect for his achievements. I heard he died yesterday and cried when they played "Like a Stone" on the radio (now that he died, that good song takes a new meaning). RIP Chris Cornell!
