For my very first video, I decided to release my season 3 Tier list. With A.B.A out and Slayer/Season 4 patch on the horizon, I wanted to give my thoughts on who have been dominating the game and the unfortunate weaker bunch who still need some help!

I feel like the number 1 contenders are so similar in power that they seem to be interchangeable depending on what you value
Zando thank you for the video. I will say in my opinion Chaos and asuka are too low. Both chars are extremely explosive. Despite the HC nerfs, i still see him performing consistently in tournaments and he can still check make most characters after a wall break.
I will agree Asuka has shaky matchups for sure, but he also has been placing very well in tournaments and can still use unseeable mixups due to 3D cube and blackhole cube specials.
Man how did you practice to get your Asuka so fire? !

A reminder to Strive players that GG Strive has not been a competitive game for 3 years. The whole meta in this game is cheap brainrot gorillas or broken characters with autopilot mode for 3 seasons in a row. Balance simply doesn't exist. Gorilla STRIVE- shame of gg series. Absolutely trash.

One cannot but rejoice at the attitude of the community on youtube, x or subreddit, where they mock the Millia players who were destroyed in the public for two punches. Indeed, it is decent behavior for the Strive Community to mock those who are trying to learn a character who is not in the meta. Nothing new.
This game hit rock bottom for 3 seasons in a row. I hope the 4th and final season of this zoo will make this game even more absurd than ever.
I hope people remember Strive as the most ridiculous game in the series (:
Ah yes ABA the character who on one hit can put you into a combo that does 75% and barely has to use her "normal mode" is constantly in jealous rage is only A- and elphelt is in B+ this tier list is a joke

@@tuesday4564 I'm completely calm. I'm just pointing out that this tier list makes no sense and the amount of people claiming ABA is bad when she very clearly is getting a bit old. Especially when elphelt is considered top tier by many top level players

Nago top tier in 2024 is gigacap. Has actual losing matchups and weaknesses, the most recovery frames in the game, mismanagement of resource means death and limits damage output. Other top tiers deal more damage, have better mobility, pressure and mix without being limited by a resource. Open your eyes

so first of all, nago is the only character in the game that can cancel specials into other specials, so his recovery "issue" is non existent until i guess high blood. if you really want to talk frame data, why is it okay for his 5k to be a steroided far slash with better conversion?
next up, resource. LOL. the character plays itself. if you "mismanage" blood on nago you re straight up ass, I'm sorry. The gameplan at all blood levels is the exact same across most matchups, and he has so much damage and conversion the match ends in 2 touches anyway.
Also mismanagement of resource does not limit dmg output, simply the method in which its inflicted. good nago routing can subvert any "damage loss" of high blood.
Literally a select few other top tiers do more damage than nago, and basically only sol can convert as easily. nago s mobility is genuinely fine for a heavyweight with a million hp and crackhead buttons, nago pressure is alright I guess, but nago s mix is straight up guesswork. and it only has to work twice, even if nago gets beat for 30s.
oh and he has insane synergy with system mechanics. WWA is self explainatory, and he uses PRC very effectively. a million health, neutral skips, insane startup on far reaching moves, disjoints, fast jabs, conversion, damage, mix, nago literally has it all and then some. YOU open your eyes, and/or play better.
