Oskar had two factories. One, the Enamelware Factory in Krakov and then, once they sent all of the Jews to the concentration camps, Oskar had to buy them back and then he established another factory at Brünnlitz, where he was able to save the 1200 Jews. He had two factories, one on Krakov and this one. The factory at Krakow was the Enamelware Factory. This one was an armaments factory and the safe haven for the Jews. This one is the one where he really saved the Jews. I recommend to check the next link for more accurate info: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Br%C3%BCnnlitz_labor_camp.

He was the man who put himself in danger to save others, in that period whomever come to help the Jews are killed same time. His memorable should not be like this, it can be cleaned and convert to museum, more people will come to see it.

Mathi - There is in fact an effort underway to restore the factory as a museum. The factory recently received protection as a historical site.
