If you want better top end out heavier roller weights in the variator and if you want to be able to wheelie it but have worse top end then lighter roller weights

Chris Szuba bad ass I’ve owned many pedal mopeds, three of which were hobbits. Definitely the best moped to dump money into without considering all the old French race stuff. After wasting thousands of dollars on 20 or so mopeds ive moves on to Harleys and fast cars. Back before treats or 77 it was a lot harder to find parts but once those got big it got very easy to spend all your money to go 60 lol

That's a badass bike. You could probably get $1000 easy if you brought it to hawaii. Mopeds are big here. A honda elite on average can go for $2000 but I seen them go up to $5000 The yamaha jog is one class above the hondas. Throw an italian bore kit on there and you would never wanna get rid of that thing. You gotta figure yamaha makes a lot of precision products like instruments and electronics so anything mechanical is a piece of cake for them. The engineering is spot on. If they made a car it would be the only thing I would drive. You scored man I bet you got that at a garage sale for like 100 bucks from someone that never knew of the diamond in the rough they had.
