Well yeah, since it's titled "The Mass - Knights Templars." It's not a Mass and it doesn't have anything to do with the Templars. I'm not saying it's bad music. I enjoy it thoroughly. The title is just misleading.
The words being sung are from the Carmina Burana (particularly the poem O Fortuna,) which is a collection of poems from the 11th and 12th centuries. Most of them are about fortune, morals, mockery, love, drinking or gambling. They have little, if any, religious content.
I wouldn't necessarily agree with that, per se. My point is that the song is not a Mass as the title suggests. A Mass is a strictly liturgical ceremony held by the Church, and the lyrics to this song are from a secular text, which in many cases mocks certain Church practices and focuses on wordly rather than spiritual subjects.

The words being sung are from the Carmina Burana (particularly the poem O Fortuna,) which is a collection of poems from the 11th and 12th centuries. Most of them are about fortune, morals, mockery, love, drinking or gambling. They have little, if any, religious content.

I wouldn't necessarily agree with that, per se. My point is that the song is not a Mass as the title suggests. A Mass is a strictly liturgical ceremony held by the Church, and the lyrics to this song are from a secular text, which in many cases mocks certain Church practices and focuses on wordly rather than spiritual subjects.
