Thank you so much BeekAE, this is a great video!, im electronic engineer and healtcare communications systems specialist and teacher here in peru, im working in a ppt about pacs systems for my students on university, i have 1 question for u, why dont you mention that the computer where the radiologist works his reports is a workstation with a medical grade monitor?, considering that a medical grade monitor costs $20K vs a PC monitor that costs $500

Hello, Is DICOM a kind of image formats like jpg or png? please I will wait for your reply
I took datasets from Kaggle, but when i click right on any image i found properties of its was tif, jpg, or jpeg. If not what it is?

Are the DICOM files you have in .DCM format? These type of files, for instance can be a JPEG2000/JPG/PNG image + additional metadata. You won't be able to open these files with your native windows image viewers. You'll need a DICOM viewer. There are free opensource viewers such as Microdicom that you can download and use. @4:15 chest x-rays are produced by using x-rays and not radioactive light..
This video is an oversimplified explanation. To clarify, X-rays are ionizing photons. In other words, X-rays are light or electromagnetic radiation. Just not on the visible light spectrum. You can find X-rays on the electromagnetic spectrum at the higher energy range, above UV radiation.

You need to tell us what DICOM format is ? Also no one prints images anymore, that’s what we have computers , Laptops and tablets for . No need for the music in this video moved way too slow and had information in it we didn’t need . Our patient identifiers always kept with the images? The medical mistakes are not made?
