  • Here is a close up look of the all new 2020 Fuel EX 8 from Trek. This is an exciting bike, well priced and I recommend you getting out to demo one to see just how capable it is. Trek have re-designed their flagship trail bike from the ground up so I hope you find this video useful in learning about the new tech, spec and colours. For more details on the bike you can view on our website or on Treks site. Thanks for watching!

This is my trail bike, I have upgraded bars to 790mm FatBars 30mm rise, Death-Grips, DMR V12 Magnesium Peddles, Suspension upgrade w' volume spacer/token front/rear, Rear Hub Upgrade, Maxxis Asagai front, Maxxis DHR II rear. This bike is very Enduro capable if you spend a little $$$ in the areas that matter... Awesome bike, I love it!

with those upgrades that you have mentioned, i think its better to just get an enduro ready bike. Or maybe not?

It looks like a great machine. I ride a cube and, to be honest, it is a luxury to be able to enjoy them. A great video for a great bike friend. You have my like !!

they should have kept the 27.5 plus option for this. Im enjoying my 2019 27.5 plus it hugs everything it encounters.

Did you have any issues with chain slap on the smallest cog? I have read several reviews that say clearance can be a problem. I would add a oval chain ring but wondering if that would contribute to clearance issues.

Is there much difference between the EX7 and the 8?

Please sort the audio for future videos. The intro music is super loud, then I can barely hear your voice. And that's on the max volume my monitor speakers output.

Hey mate 2 questions.. what would be the biggest 29in tire you could fit in this bike? And could it accept 27.5 plus tire/ wheel combo? Cheers.

I know you can fit a 2.6in wide 29 in there but not sure about the 27.5

Widest is 2.8. You can NOT have a 27.5 wheel as far as I know

Hi there, you may squeeze on the XS. I would recommend going into a shop to demo/sit on one to see if the sizing is okay. Cheers
