Yeah that was a hard interaction to watch, not going to lie.
That was terrible behaviour by Kym
Countless expensive watches, countless first class flights, job people dream of, but no time for a young girl genuinely excited to meet you. Watch and subscribed to you for ages but that has really left a bad taste.
Just an excited kid and you blew her off.
That girl interaction was not very West Aussie at all Kim. I don't know how, but you need to try & make things good with her.

He was multi-tasking- talking about and filming the flood of people as the gates opened for the first time, whilst also dealing with the young fan. He did respond politely to a couple of their shout outs. I suspect Kym just isn't used to being on the receiving end of some fan adulation.

All good but that interaction with the girl was harsh.. That girl learned the hard way the meaning of the phase "never meet your heroes".
I understand both perspectives. He was a bit rude, but he was also in the middle of filming. If you're going to introduce yourself wait until he is free.
@@lamsmiley1944 He usually adds outtakes on every video. On this one that would have been a very good outtake as he could have interacted with the girl, added that to his outtakes, and then resume the video where he stopped.
He was just talking about the entrance, the running people, and the 400m they need to travel when she interrupted. A 10 second interaction with her could have made her day and also, IMO, could have been a better outtake rather than the sandwich one on this video.
I thought that too. Shame, as he was lovely to my wife and I at the Hungaroring. I wonder why he showed this?

Been watching you forever Kym. I am a huge fan and love to see how much the channel has evolved with the years.
But i have to be honest with you. That interaction with that fan was one of the most cringe things ive seen in a while. Borderline disrespectful. I get that you are working, but dont forget the fans are the ones giving you the views and buying your stuff. Got me thinking twice about approaching you if I ever see you at a GP.

That girl was interrupting him while he’s talking and just kept speaking. I don’t think it was malicious, he was just trying to do his job.

We got to meet Kym in Vegas for the F1 launch event and he couldn't have been lovelier. Had time for a chat despite being busy and was kind enough to take a selfie. He constantly does meet and greets too. A fan running up in the middle of recording (while he's speaking no less) and not getting his full attention isn't a big deal. She could have waited since he was clearly in the middle of filming.

Aw you know, I was a bit down about this F1 race after the first two races were so dull. BUT, after seeing this, and reminding me that F1 is at a proper circuit this weekend, in the sun, it's made me happy! Thank you!!!
Issue is that the races in Bahrain and Jeddah hardly have fans attending… races like Melbourne, Zandvoort, Italy, Silverstone, Austin, Spa, Mexico, Brasil… DO have a sold out venue and the buzz and all sorts of activities for fans. The energy is indeed quite different from Bahrain and Jeddah.

Although I haven't attended any other races in the world besides Melbourne, I had an awesome time in 2022 and met friendly people whom I still keep in touch with 2 years later. I can highly recommend going solo as it is friendly and secure and being surrounded by like-minded people enjoying what we love only adds immeasurable feelings of togetherness regardless of what team or driver we support. Great video Kym showcasing our Aussie home race 🇦🇺

I've been watching his videos for around a year and will continute to do so. However, when I went up to Kym at Gate 1 on Thursday, he told me to "wait a minute" but just walked away after filming.
