My husband is an ironworker. He recently lost a fellow brother and has had a hard time dealing with it. I found you by accident and love these, so I sent him a video. It actually made him laugh...hard. So I wanted to say thank you for producing these videos. With all the dangers each trade faces every day, these guys need a way to laugh about it. You've done just that by producing something true and funny af. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for making my ironworker smile again!
Our trade is very dangerous and I definitely am my brothers keeper!! Hope your husband can push through his loss--- we're a tough breed--- outwardly and inwardly as well---
im a turbine mechanic, this is the first thing on the internet ive ever been able to show my wife to let her have some idea of what my life is like half the year lol
I’m a firefighter and know some folks who do lineman work and pipe fitting and so on and they’ve all been like these vids are spot on and funny as hell
This is accurate in the oilfield as well. Never had I been around so many guys that couldn't speak 10 words without cussing or making a sex joke. Was a culture shock for me at first having previously worked in the I.T. world lol.
I work in a power plant as an operator and some other dudes showed me this today. It’s an accurate depiction of my job. We even have a guy with a glass eye
Boyd Animation I’d love to see a cartoon involving some interactions between NDE crews and the welder and then the lead inspector of the unit. Lolol. I can think of some good stories for that lineup.
I work at a refinery... this is SPOT ON! Love it. Sides hurt from laughing. Our whole shift can quote ep. 1 from start to finish. Can’t wait for the new stuff.
As a union pipefitter I find your animations funny as hell, and somewhat true to life. Keep up the excellent work Matt.... love to laugh at the parody I see here of how it is out there....
Had a job working on rental equipment… welders, light towers, booms etc… they required a JSA on EVERY piece brought into the shop. They gave me a laptop to process the work orders that did not have an Excel file, so I could not produce a JSA form to populate. IT was notified every day for three weeks but they couldn’t fix it?! Had to go to the office to have my JSA’s processed…. One day the shop foreskin handed me a Post-it note… “I need JSA’s on all these pieces…. That afternoon I walked into to his office, handed him the laptop and said “I wish I could say it was nice working with you, but I can’t”
That red hat safety asshole had me rolling! When ours shows up operators and craft hands can get scarce. The craft hands usually have a name for them, just not red hat. His call sign on the radio can get pretty creative at times. Just a way to let off some steam and keep morale up.
Hahahaha, I just watched all of them and man, this shit is real. Scaffold builder at Wood River Refinery and been to BP. Same shit just different place, it's all the same.
😂 I stopped working shut downs about 20 years ago but apparently nothing has changed 😂 the only thing different I’ve noticed so far is I haven’t heard anyone say “aight” over the the radio 😂
Oh shit! This is by far the best I’ve seen in awhile. I work in the field, with pipelines - welders - fitters - in Bakersfield and I’m f*cking Asian. You don’t see that often but I love it. Not many will understand but I do. Thank you man! Can’t wait to watch more and piss on myself. I worked with a guy named Travis Adam Boyd, maybe relation? Anyhow thank you for the laughs.
I’m Local 7 Boilermaker and I just stumbled on to your channel . I shared it with my brother Boilermakers too . This is great !!! Love it !!! Keep em coming

Boyd Animation where are you at?
Boyd Animation I’d love to see a cartoon involving some interactions between NDE crews and the welder and then the lead inspector of the unit. Lolol. I can think of some good stories for that lineup.
I work at a refinery... this is SPOT ON! Love it. Sides hurt from laughing. Our whole shift can quote ep. 1 from start to finish. Can’t wait for the new stuff.
FINALLY, a realistic depiction of refinery work in cartoon form.
We called shutdowns turnarounds, cause you'd work 16 hrs go home and get 6 hrs of sleep, then turnaround and do it again. You have nailed it.
TEEEEEEEEEN FOUR
god damn, so accurate to my refinery
Me: Dude its saturday, i thought you said we were going to work a half day today.
Foreman: 12 hours is half a day.
This is exactly how the whiting Indiana refinery is holy shit 😂
I was a refinery Boilermaker... Nothing better than watching fitters rig multitap spools...lol
These refined cartoons are right on the spot related to pipe industry work
idiot. its boilermakin.
As a union pipefitter I find your animations funny as hell, and somewhat true to life. Keep up the excellent work Matt.... love to laugh at the parody I see here of how it is out there....
This is a construction workers dream show 😁
This needs to be showed in all MSHA / OSHA classes
Oh my God. It's almost every refinery job I've ever been on.
They played this in 1 of our safety meetings i nearly died laughing😂
Its pretty amazing how far these videos have come in 4 years
I’m a safety manager and I love these...
I cannot believe the skyhook carried the short guy up!!!!!
This is so true, we go through that everyday as supervisors and safety people!!! Oh my this is true to form!!!
Keep up the good work Brandy!! Oh btw I think there's a serious osha violation on the opposite end of the building ( from where I'm working 😂)
How the hell have I missed this??? My life is now complete
Bad thing about it,,, it's right on the money...!!!
This is the funniest shit. Reminds me of work.

One episode in and I can say the accuracy is spot on

I worked in some refineries. The funny part is, the boss in the office looks almost identical to one of the superintendents we had.😂
I worked in a lot of plants doing refractory and this is hitting it on the head I love it real life
Went to do my RSO today and this is what kept the class alive!!
That red hat safety asshole had me rolling! When ours shows up operators and craft hands can get scarce. The craft hands usually have a name for them, just not red hat. His call sign on the radio can get pretty creative at times. Just a way to let off some steam and keep morale up.
