I got fat and drank a lot for a few years and while I was that way people treated me a lot differently; especially strangers. I noticed it after I stopped and lost the weight people started treating me a lot better again 😂 shits so real and it was honestly cool to experience both sides of this.
It’s true the people such as strangers treat you differently, but the people at work won’t if they know that you have a certain skill set that they don’t. I've been on both sides as a guy, even though at times I've got hit on being overweight but when I have my natural gymnast body I get hit on a whole lot more. Looks make a big difference. My face also looks very different when I'm in shape since I have a square jaw that disappears when I'm out of shape. It's also known that when a person gets allot more positive attention their attitude will naturally be more positive. Think this is common knowledge for the past 4 thousand years plus.

In my experience it is true the “ugly” girl will have the worse attitude but thats not because shes born a bad person its because of jealousy and how they are treated compared to a pretty girl. I experienced both. I use to be really ugly in highschool and was constantly bullied for being really ugly. I glowed up after going to the gym and fixing my complexion in college. Idk why but the concept of pretty privilege has always rubbed me the wrong way like I WORKED FOR THIS. I could/would be "ugly" if i didn't take care of myself. I dont have an facial deformitys(which would be an exception to my point) but I have a lot of health problems, acne, bad teeth, terrible hormones, bad metabolism and not the best genitics. If I didn't take care of myself I'd be very unattractive. I go to the gym and work out every day to get the physical appearance I want. I spend a lot of time on my skincare and hygeine. I work REALLY hard to afford to dress well and get my nails done, and my hair done, and pay for Invisalign so my teeth are straight and white. I definitely think the amount of effort you put into your appearance says something about the type of work ethic and self respect you have. Unless your born with a facial deformity or something you really can't help looks really can be influenced a lot by effort. I wake up everyday and put in a lot of work and effort to be "pretty" so I don't know why or how that's seen as a privledege when it's a choice. I promise all the pretty girls you see that look like they put in no effort to their appearance put in A LOT of effort to their appearance...
I’ve just realized this at 19 trying to get internships. The sad truth is the world runs off looks, especially when you’re a woman. I don’t have enough money to fix my teeth but I can lose weight, keep up more regularly with grooming and hygiene, and get decent clothes too look more presentable. Sad thing is you can’t look too good either in certain professions because then that will be a disadvantage aswell. I wish this wasn’t the case but it is.
However, there is usually more motivation to take care of yourself when you have a nice canvass to begin with. You’d be foolish to throw your advantages away.

At most successful restaurants, take a look at the hostesses and the wait staff, then go back to the kitchen and take a look at the staff there. Jobs where you actually have to go to school and use your brain care less about looks. No one cares how an engineer or medical doctor looks but they do care about their competency. Jobs where your discriminated by your looks and attitude really don't have high intellectual standards to begin with, but the thing is the more the person is educated the more likely they will take care of themselves and look good to a degree so that's usually less of an issue anyways. They might not have the natural beauty of this girl but that becomes irrelevant when your knowledge and education matter more.
Not really. There's things you can't fix, like symmetry, proportions and so. Mind you, these are actually the ones that really define beauty. People can like different skin color, hairstyle, eye color, body shape in some ways too. But proportions and symmetry and height and so on, is universal, and literally the things you have no control over except if you're rich and do surgery, wich comes with life risks, collateral damage, in some cases extreme pain, death... And doesn't work for some problems, like height, there's no fixing it you either have good height or u fucked. And even for the things surgery can work on, the results don't look as good as natural ppl not to mention it can fuck up your face even more, making it worse. So even if you have thousands and hundreds of dollars to spend in surgeries it's still not gonna make you be "good". At max, it makes you less worse.

Her looks are none of my business as long as she's wearing correct attire and taking care of her hygiene in order to not harm people around her in the workplace.
This is 100% correct and you know what the good looking ones also have fewer mental problems and thus can work easier at their job. But i also want to say even if you are not that good looking, a strong mindset will surpass this negative thought and you will continue to strive and become a better version of yourself and even surpass the beautiful ones because they can be too comfortable with what they have. I've been on both sides as a guy, even though at times I've got hit on being overweight but when I have my natural gymnast body I get hit on a whole lot more. Looks make a big difference. My face also looks very different when I'm in shape since I have a square jaw that disappears when I'm out of shape.

In my experience it is true the “ugly” girl will have the worse attitude but thats not because shes born a bad person its because of jealousy and how they are treated compared to a pretty girl. Which in turn makes the ugly girl have an even harder time succeeding. As an average-below average guy I experience this when Im with my taller more handsome friends. They get a lot more looks and attention which in turn makes them have a much more confident personality while it makes mine timid. And if I do act confident it ends up being seen as someone with too much ego and being who I am not. Pretty privilege is real which adds to the fact life isn’t fair and so is nature. I experienced both. I use to be really ugly in highschool and was constantly bullied for being really ugly. I glowed up after going to the gym and fixing my complexion in college. So much so that there are literal cases of attractive people getting lighter sentences for crimes compared to their less attractive counterparts. Idk why but the concept of pretty privilege has always rubbed me the wrong way like I WORKED FOR THIS. I could/would be "ugly" if i didn't take care of myself. I dont have an facial deformitys(which would be an exception to my point) but I have a lot of health problems, acne, bad teeth, terrible hormones, bad metabolism and not the best genitics. If I didn't take care of myself I'd be very unattractive.
I go to the gym and work out every day to get the physical appearance I want. I spend a lot of time on my skincare and hygeine. I work REALLY hard to afford to dress well and get my nails done, and my hair done, and pay for Invisalign so my teeth are straight and white. I definitely think the amount of effort you put into your appearance says something about the type of work ethic and self respect you have. Unless your born with a facial deformity or something you really can't help looks really can be influenced a lot by effort.
I wake up everyday and put in a lot of work and effort to be "pretty" so I don't know why or how that's seen as a privledege when it's a choice. I promise all the pretty girls you see that look like they put in no effort to their appearance put in A LOT of effort to their appearance...
I’ve just realized this at 19 trying to get internships. The sad truth is the world runs off looks, especially when you’re a woman. I don’t have enough money to fix my teeth but I can lose weight, keep up more regularly with grooming and hygiene, and get decent clothes too look more presentable. Sad thing is you can’t look too good either in certain professions because then that will be a disadvantage aswell. I wish this wasn’t the case but it is.
However, there is usually more motivation to take care of yourself when you have a nice canvass to begin with. You’d be foolish to throw your advantages away.

At most successful restaurants, take a look at the hostesses and the wait staff, then go back to the kitchen and take a look at the staff there. Jobs where your discriminated by your looks and attitude really don't have high intellectual standards to begin with, but the thing is the more the person is educated the more likely they will take care of themselves and look good to a degree so that's usually less of an issue anyways. Not really. There's things you can't fix, like symmetry, proportions and so. Mind you, these are actually the ones that really define beauty. People can like different skin color, hairstyle, eye color, body shape in some ways too. But proportions and symmetry and height and so on, is universal, and literally the things you have no control over except if you're rich and do surgery, wich comes with life risks, collateral damage, in some cases extreme pain, death... And doesn't work for some problems, like height, there's no fixing it you either have good height or u fucked. And even for the things surgery can work on, the results don't look as good as natural ppl not to mention it can fuck up your face even more, making it worse. So even if you have thousands and hundreds of dollars to spend in surgeries it's still not gonna make you be "good". At max, it makes you less worse.
You said an ugly girl with a bad attitude won't get anywhere, it goes the same for a pretty girl with a bad attitude. I value my people based on their performance and ethics. Her looks are none of my business as long as she's wearing correct attire and taking care of her hygiene in order to not harm people around her in the workplace.

This is 100% correct and you know what the good looking ones also have fewer mental problems and thus can work easier at their job. But i also want to say even if you are not that good looking, a strong mindset will surpass this negative thought and you will continue to strive and become a better version of yourself and even surpass the beautiful ones because they can be too comfortable with what they have. That's why it isn't always a bad thing to have a less attractive face/body, it's the mind that will get you there even if you need to start from the mud.
