As a person who gets joy from paintings and appreciates the skill involved I am often frustrated with my own efforts because of my colour blindness. Being able to see colour but struggle naming what they are, this video is like a key opening a door. Your palette choices, your descriptions of colour saturation and tone and your demonstrations of mixing colours will enable me to look at a possible subject in a more accessible light. The 'formulas' or ratios in colours and their uses provide the structure I need to approach painting with more confidence.
    Thank you.

It's amazing how it comes together after a few simple layers of color. Cool piece

Wonderful! Would love to see the reference photo taped beside the painting so we can see why you choose the colors, tones, shapes, you do. I need very little verbal instruction and learn more from watching. I appreciate the relaxed conversational approach to the painting rather than monotonous montage. Your approach is not fussy with tiny brushes. You get in there and do it.

Yes, that’s just how I feel. I get so far with a painting and think it’s rubbish and in the bin it goes and threaten to never get out my acrylics again. I must push thro obviously as you did
    Many many thanks x
