That was a mistake on both of their parts tbh lol. Dylan switched because he thought Thunder Wave would effect him. I don't see another reason to switch.
Was going to comment this. They both did a lot of weird plays throughout the video, probably just a lot of overthinking which led to them forgetting something. Dylan comments 'is Rhyperior banded?' when he just saw it set up stealth rock for example lol

Would be interesting to see this again, but if you take low attack, be required to take an Attack lowering nature. Take high speed, take up speed nature, etc. or pick for opponent with the nature requirements as well

I love this idea. I’d love to see you do this again but with the added caveat that if you say a high stat you have to take max EVs in that stat. If you say a low stat you can’t take any EVs in that stat.

Every Pokemon has Cute Charm and only contact moves are allowed
Variation: allow combinations of stats, or do only combinations, but like in this video only allow each one ones. So if person one picked highest attack+speed then the next person can't pick that, but they can still do highest attack+defense, highest special attack+speed or even highest attack-special attack.

Something I thought of when it was mentioned this was best of 3, in the future, if you get to game 3, the 3rd game is doubles. So games 1 and 2 are singles, and if it's tied after, go to a doubles battle to see if there's a team that works better in doubles. It would but an interesting twist to things, and it would make team building more interesting.

I don't think you guys have ever done a video like this, if not you should do one where the only stat that gets revealed by your opponent is the Pokemon's worst stat, and you have to build your team based entirely on that information. Really test how well you know stat spreads.
I think you guys should do this but pick each others Pokemon and instead pick based on what you want the opponents lowest stat to be. No repeat stat choices.

Fun fact, Chandelure has the highest base SpAtk in the entire game (of "normal" pokemon, ie not legends/megas/etc), tied with Vikavolt and Cursola.

Oooh yall should do a rerun of this, but with a twist. You should be forced to invest into the stats you chose, ie if you go for highest Attack you have to fully invest into Attack, and if you go lowest Attack, you can’t invest in Attack whatsoever

Idea: Pokemon Battle but every Pokemon is a Legendary. You get to give them 600 BST, an ability you want, and a Signature move that is not already on their move pool, but must be the same as one of its types.

I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. The player who gets the identity correct is also able to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. Let’s say that the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries are physical attackers like Machamp. You can rigg the entire moveset to be special or support moves. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.

I thought it was big brain tera blasts after some neigh boosts, but I was thinking too deep haha

You guys should play doubles more often. It's better at strategizing and planning synergies with the random abilities and moves, and it's easier to use pokemon that are useless in Singles. In Singles it usually boils down to who has the best sweeper or is able to setup and that can get boring.
New idea for a then we fight: Then we fight All Stars. You get all the best then we fight mons from the past, like well baked body venomoth.
