      They definitely help for some things. I had to go to a few when I had a spine injury and they definitely helped more than the conventional doctor with ibuprofen and muscle relaxers.

      @@fox1actualId say its comparative to a massage. It can both help and harm depeding on how its done, but it can only do minor stuff really, and nothing long lasting. If done regularly it can help in the same way as doing exercise sort of. I wouldnt say its useless but its on the level of a beauty salon / spa than anything medical.

    General question with PD on the right Why did you check for AS on that side? Isn't that traditionally PI and you start with Checking AS opposite side? Thanks!

    • @southstreetchiropractic6693
      @southstreetchiropractic6693  Před 2 lety +3

      Good question. The answer is I was stress testing as the PD was minimal and I was trying to see if it made a change. I agrees with R PD you would expect a R PI ilium and L AS, however beware biasing yourself to think that. All variations are possible including a R AS on a R PD possibility 2!

    • @southstreetchiropractic6693
      @southstreetchiropractic6693  Před 3 lety +5

      Great question. When the correct area to perform the adjustment has be determined (that’s the leg lift bit) then the adjustment thrust can be applied. In the lumber lower back, it will move the bone 1.8mm in 10.4 milliseconds and send a signal to the brain. There is also a localised anti-inflammatory effect. The process currently has 23 clinical trials to back this.

    Does anyone knows how this feel vs getting cracked and popped ?

    • @southstreetchiropractic6693
      @southstreetchiropractic6693  Před 3 lety +11

      Similar but different. Similar in that the outcome is the same, different in that the joint is not being taken to end range and then the force applied. There have been comparison studies over the years, which always say that the bone movement is about the same. To be honest its a bit like being hungry and deciding on whether to go to an Indian or Italian restaurant. You may have a preference, but you will be well fed at both. Hope that helps ❤️😀

      You might have been told they were migraines. You probably had tension headaches caused by tight muscles. Migraines are debilitating headaches where you can’t get out of bed. Some even cause lesions in the brain they are so severe

    3. Why do they ALWAYS put their activator up ya bum at least once

      2. Legs are the key to all the bodies ailments (we all know this)
      3. Clearly the bum requires activation in all cases.
      4. Lockdown has been hard on us all but let's face it these sorts of skills need constant practice.
