- Todays mission? Get off the mountain but first we have to tackle the Renjo-La Pass and Iz has stomach problems... We catch a flight from the world's most dangerous airport! We try all 3 of the local spirits made here in Nepal from millet! We get a personal tour from our host to the local monastery where he went to school and we get the chance to chat to a monk.

If you're new here - welcome and so we're happy to have ya here!! We are Lost In Transit aka Tom and Iz - we normally live in a Ford Transit Van and travel around Europe. We recently left our van in a Romanian airport car park and spontaneously booked flights to Nepal to backpack for a while! We are absolutely loving it here, it's incredible, subscribe and join us as we travel into the unknown! It'll be great to have you on the adventure with us!
Who are we? 💁🏼♀️
We're Tom and Iz, a young couple from Cornwall, the UK, who live and travel full time in our van La Bamba. We decided to take a break from the van for a while and go backpacking! We love nature and try to spend as much time as possible wild swimming, hiking and being outdoors! 10 years ago we had a whirlwind summer romance, then went our separate ways to travel and go to university and fast forward 4 years later, we found ourselves back in the same place at the same time as each other and the rest is history.

Any noticed how this couple are maturing as people? Also, incredibly confident embryonic documentary makers.
What have you seen that demonstrates they have got more mature?

watched lots of EBC trek videos, but never once seen a turquoise blue lake and the mighty Everest herself like that together. you guys really provide a different perspective of a mountain so photographed, i can't thank you enough for what you do
Guys, this whole series is one of the most inspirational things I’ve ever seen. What you have achieved is incredible but to share it is just huge for everyone interested. Thank you.
For amateur hikers you were amazing. The distances, the altitude, the cold. Really enjoyed it.
What a nice couple you are. Open, friendly, inquisitive: you do a fine job of representing your country, its not everyone who gets the white scarf or the monastery tour.
Really enjoying seeing your journey. I was also stretched physically, emotionally and spiritually in the Nepal Himalaya but wouldn’t swap the experience for anything. My first flight into Lukla I was sat immediately behind the pilots and had a Buddhist monk behind me praying and chanting for the whole flight. I’m still here so guess it worked. From the air Lukla looks an insane place to land. Absolutely love the country and its people. Nepal will probably be in your hearts for a very long time. Its certainly still in mine.
What an amazing trip, you two must me mighty proud of yourselves, and no one could blame you. Thank you immensely for sharing your travels, adventures and life with us all 🏔😎🥰
That's my weekend complete having watched yet another fabulous episode in your Napalise adventure. Lovely to see Isabel smiling towards the end after a difficult trek while not feeling the best. Just love the way you both interact with everyone you meet along the way. Fantastic editing and awesome footage as always. May I ask what camera you've been using on such a steep climbs and by times tricky descents.? Stay safe Tom and Isabel...🚐👏👏☘
We have been using our new big camera, the Sony A7s. Its actually pretty bulk and annoying and maybe the gopro would be easier, but i just love the footage so much more
Guys......this episode was awesome.....I think Izzy might be part Hobbit as they also eat many meals in a day.😉
You've taught me so much about the culture. I've said it before, you should have your own program on TV.
We have loved your Napal vlogs. What an incredible journey and amazing memories made. 💛
WoW wat een geweldige vlog weer. Genoten van de prachtige beelden! Thanks!
Yet another great half an hour of pure escapism, thank you. Who knew that millet was so versatile ?! Brilliant filming and editing again and the two main characters are pretty good too. 😉 Congratulations on your fabulous achievements. Stay safe you two.
Spectactular views of that lake behind lz and fantastic views of Everest Tom..Glad you had a safe landing.👍👍☘☘
Gonna miss your Nepal vlogs. Definitely gonna watch your future vlogs.
Unbelievably awesome views ! THANK YOU fror bringing your trekking into view for all of your followers 👍🏻😀
Such amazing views there just unreal. Well done both of your, the memories you both shall have will be so worthwhile looking back on in the future 👌👌👌
Thank you very much for posting this video footage, I enjoyed very much. It's always loves to see the video footage like this, because I myself also love to hike any chance I get. Keep it up you two. Thanks again
Awesome! Brilliant adventurers. You guys are my heroes! Much love to you from Lockhart, Texas.
I will never be able to do such a trip myself, so being able to experience the highlights of it through this video is a fantastic substitute. I’m not usually a fan of music in the background but it was done brilliantly on this, sparingly and at appropriate times. It must have taken a lot of time to film all the clips and edit. You had courage (and youth) to do such a walk. Superb!
Superb - My favourite vlog to date.
That's some walk in one day at that altitude...no wonder you were aching the day after.
Thank you
A great Video, as always. Thank you very much for the incredible good content. 🤍👍
Thank you, Isabel & Tom
Phenomenal footage & lifelong memories 👍🏻😀
it's been epic. thanks for sharing and best wishes for all your future endeavors.
Wow !! .. what a determination !! Congratulations on completing two treks in a row !! 👏 👏
Found your channel by chance this morning and have subscribed. Nepal has always been on my mind to visit. A very short flight from where I live in Thailand.
I'm so glad I found your chanel and then did your journey to Napal and the Himalayas. You are both awesome. Congratulations on all you have done. Take care both.
Another great vlog guys. Thank you
I am so impressed with you two, the amazing and beautiful experience you have undertaken with all the physical and emotional trials - and you are such a delightful couple, its a true pleasure to watch your joy. Thank you for taking us all along with you, incredible xoxoxo
Great vlogs - just the right balance of info and realism - inspiring us to plan our next set of trips in our VW camper
Wow... You looked at Everest with your own eyes! 😮 What amazing memories you have made! Thank you for sharing them 😊
In 1983 I did a trek in Nepal from Pokhara, with my daughter, aged 10. She was a pretty girl with blond hair and considered marriageable age there! A man once gave her an orange and carried her up a steep slope on his horse. Everything was much less developed for tourism in those days - especially food. It was always, always rice and dhal. A special treat one day was mashed potatoes! We had our own guide plus a porter. After a few days the porter picked up a two-year old child (his!) and carried her on top of my backpack in his basket. I bought her some shoes, but she wouldn't wear them. Those were the days! Thanks for the memories; but we didn't get to such altitudes as you.
What an incredible journey, so happy for you two. Your time in Lukla and visiting the monastery was really unique and cool to see. Can't wait to go! :)
What a long trek! You are very brave getting on that plane . Hopefully you can rest when you get to your next destination you deserve it. Looking forward to the next video . Veronica xx
Thank you so much for the brilliant journey. Stay safe. 😘
Hi guys. What a great hike that was, the views of Everest were fantastic. You both should be so pleased with yourselves for doing all those trecks. Keep safe guys.

Another wonderful video with breathtaking vistas. What an remarkable few weeks you have had. Izzy - you did the right thing getting a seat at the back of that plane as they don't reverse into mountains ☺️
God I must think of this next time I fly😄
You both are amazing ,delighted you landed safely. Take care and stay safe.
I love the way that you two guys are obviously proud Cornish folk, but Tom is trekking through the Himalayas with a bobbled Irish tricolour hat! Keeping the flame lit......
I’ve so loved this trip you have shared. I wonder if you could show on a map the treks you have walked etc . But thank you for all the fabulous videos!
good idea, i will see what i can do
You guys are seriously some motivation. May god bless you.
Thank you for visiting Nepal 🇳🇵 hope you will enjoy 😊
Great scenery! Amazing trip - well done with the high altitude lack of oxygen 👏 👍
Fantastic guys well done great video 🍀👌
Mind blowing video. You both impress me so much. Best to you both.
Wow! What an incredible hike you did, you must have been totally spent. Impressive, and impressive that Isabel pushed thorugh inspite of having a bad day, you go girl :) I've learned a thing or two about travelling, and I've done a couple of trips where it's been hard or on the cheap, but when they are done indulge in some luxury and calm after. You must both be exhausted. Take care of yourselves and treat yourself now. Don't rush like mad into the next thing, whatever it is, but give yourself some time to land. Thanks for a great video.
😊 Thank you

May 12,N 2023: What an incredible filming and journey. Tom sounds like he has a bit of a sore throat. Insane the plane is like it is flying in a neighborhood. Those are some amazing pilots to maneuver such a flying time. Get some rest soon! No not the chili again! The insides of your body…Cute Nepali hat on Tom. Wow the massive turning prayer like wheel. How cool that one of Monks is showing you around. That is so special that you were able to go into the Monastery. Very nice people. Another scarf. Tom the new hat is looking much daper on you! Again, another great video and thank you for letting us come along with you two.
We're watching this a few weeks behind, slowly catching up with you with some binge watching. We love all your videos but keep forgetting to 'like & comment'! Another great episode of your brilliant adventures.

Love the bit at 19:08 where Izzy asks the monk " What's it like living here?" As if he's going to say "It is absolutely shit! Please take me back to Europe with you, or anywhere warm really. Please Izzy, please. I beseech you"

Fantastic. You were getting on that plane, I immediately remembered the movie "The Mummy Returns", with Jake on the plane, hehe. I would have doubts getting on that plane. 👀🛩
