Taiwan is such an underrated country in East Asia. I had spent 4 years there and I love every second of it. People are friendly, the food's delicious, the environment is great, the cost is cheaper compared to Japan or Korea, and there's a lot to look for there. I hope a lot of people will consider visiting Taiwan after watching your vids because it'll be worth it. A lot of my friends who visited Taiwan fell in love immediately!

UUUUGH I miss eating like this soooo much! Last time I was in China, I stayed for a little more than a month and had food like this everyday! Breakfast was always cold sweetened soy milk with those long savory fried dough or I had the fried things with rice soup OR we had delicious fatty pork buns (steamed and pan-fried)! And ugh the soup dumplings and all the different kinds of pancakes and noodles! Had my first taste of snow ice during this visit too. AND THE ROAST DUCK!!!! The perfectly crackling skin pork and...actual legit Peking Duck (almost all the U.S. ones are crap and not authentic. Stupid buns.)! It was just heaven. I ate so much and was ready for a 10 pound weight gain, but ended up somehow losing a pound by the end of the trip.

I'm an exchange student and I live in Taichung Taiwan. The food is AMAZING and super super cheap. I love the hair salons here, it's only like $6 for wash/dry/style. Also the fried stinky tofu is much better/much less stinky than the non-fried version. I love Din Tai Fung! There's one at the Top City department store in Taichung and it is wonderful. The UBikes are super fun and convenient, sometimes we take the bikes instead of the bus. The buses in Taichung are really awesome too because they are free for the first 10 kilometers with an EasyCard so they are usually free.

OMGGG that looks awesome!! My parents are from Shanghai and Taiwan so I get to go back every summer and have these delicious food IT'S AMAZINGG!! I love the night markets in Taiwan!! and last summer when I was in Shanghai I had delicious shengjianbao and soup dumplings with soymilk EVERY MORNING uggghhh I miss this so muchhhhhhhh T.T can't wait for summer, i'll be visiting my grandparents in HK too so it means more DELICIOUS homemade cantonese style soup yayy!! ^^

I love taiwan, imo the people there have a good amount of politeness without being stuffy or restrictive and the food is so affordable and delicious.
OMGGG that looks awesome!! My parents are from Shanghai and Taiwan so I get to go back every summer and have these delicious food IT'S AMAZINGG!! I love the night markets in Taiwan!! and last summer when I was in Shanghai I had delicious shengjianbao and soup dumplings with soymilk EVERY MORNING uggghhh I miss this so muchhhhhhhh T.T can't wait for summer, i'll be visiting my grandparents in HK too so it means more DELICIOUS homemade cantonese style soup yayy!! ^^

simon and martina, go to hongkong please! you can try so many differnt types of cantonese food like the turnip cake you guys first ate. its originally catonese, so if you like that, im liek 99.99 percent sure you'll love hong kong food! ~ps love you guys!

I strongly suggest foregin friends go to the centeral,south and east of TAIWAN. don't just stay around TAIPEI city. you will discover much more interesting things,special food, beautiful scenery and kind people. I promise.
