West Street - it's unrecognisable now. And little Regent Street - gone completely. The last time I lived up in Newcastle was early 70s - half a century ago and if I went back up to Gateshead now I'd be completely lost.

Newcastle & district town councils need to protect what little now remains of newcastles past. Far too much has been destroyed.
