Remember when people were making fun of him just because we were in the heat of the Messi - Ronaldo debate? Turns out we were laughing at possibly the greatest striker of our generation. Him before Lewandowski and Suarez if I'm being asked, and I got massive respect for the ballers that they are!

Just realized that Benzema's Real Madrid long story happened because of these things:
1.Lyon faced Real Madrid in 2005/06 and 2006/07 group stages.
He was moved in the summer transfer of 2009/10, but Lyon eliminated Real Madrid in the Round of 16, only to be responded by Benzema's goals during the encounter in the same stage a year later (2010/11) and then in the group stage of 2011/12.
2.When he was at Lyon, the club also faced Manchester United in 2008 and Barcelona in 2009. Both of them were the eventual winners and had two football GOATs that we all ever know nowadays!
This is where the El Clasico rivalry had actually began.
